Just got my second oil change at the dealer under the Jeep Wave program. I noticed the tech did not reset the oil life gauge. Right now it's at zero. I tried using the hold "OK" button while engine is off in RUN mode. Didn't work. I also tried tapping the gas pedal 3x's while engine is off in RUN mode. This did not work. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution? Thanks in advance!

How about holding OK while it's running?

That pic shows 100% meaning it is reset.

Did you try with engine running?

Anyway, if that is your current picture, it's reset, you are done.
Don't try to move that red line - it doesn't
100% means you have full or 100% oil life left.

I see, thank you @ShadowsPapa ! When engine is running I get a message something to the effect of "to reset oil life engine must be off" (paraphrasing) But yes, it says 100% but was confused w the red line at zero. I thought it would show full and green. Oh well!

Do you have an owners manual? If so, it's in there. If not, download the PDF version - it's in there, too.
Almost every such setting or display question is in there.

at 35mph on level ground, roll down windows, un fasten your seat belt, shift to neutral (without hitting the brakes), depress accelerator to the floor, when rev limiter kicks in, jam it into reverse, simultaneously turn hard right....You won't ever have to sweat the oil monitor again. [/SARCASM]

PS SORRY FOR DIGGING THIS OLD THREAD OUT OF THE GRAVE!
