I recently tried Discount Tire. Didn’t work out. They gave me a 1% discount after me requesting the price match.
It is a better buy (especially after ME having to do the research), to buy online and have delivered to my house . They offered a 1% discount for “price matching” my best price. Not a typo….1%.
I’m not in tire sales-so in thought me having to research and provide “my best price” was odd. And then the 1% off was insulting (after I did all the research)


I also tried Tire Choice. (Local to me franchise). I had an appointment yesterday 5/12 to install my new tires. I had to call 3 times to follow up to get an update on status.
Please keep in mind I paid $400 for shipping of “my” tires. They then told me they can’t even get a tracking number AFTER I took the day off for my installation appointment. They then told me the 2-3 days for the $400 refund(deposit) is now 2-3 weeks. No explanation, no tangible receipt showing refund issued. Their printer is down. All initial communication was fine, but then they hit me “2-3 WEEKS for a refund on a card“ after I was told 2-3 DAYS.
They could not even tell where the tire(s) were located. This is after I paid $400 to get them shipped there, and the tires never showed up. I called the main office, and they apparently also have a printer down, and could not simply email me anything saying that the refund was actually processed.

please keep in mind-There was a week after ordering and deposit to scheduled installation appointment.
Buyers beware. It may not be your experience, but it is mine.
