I have been scouring the web for any thing and no luck. So I signed up and gonna ask the Gladiator Forum. Has anyone else had a problem with their bed getting knocked out of alignment with the body/cab of their truck?
The frame is not bent. I took it to a frame shop had it leveled and measured. Not the frame.
Had the bed off the truck none of the channels at the mounting points appear to be bent or compressed.
I have a couple of theories but they defy logic.
Happened during a wheeling trip that saw some rock ledges contacting the rear lower control arm frame side brackets. Nothing that I haven't seen other encounter without issue.

I mean, the frames bent. Nothing else it could really be. Doesn't matter if the frame shop said it's level, it may be level and out of factory geometry.

nope. resigned myself to its bent. have seen worse on an overlander rig with spare tire carrier and gas cans hooked to the bumper... it was sent to be bent back to spec... didn't look any better than mine once complete...

Reviving an old thread. I have my rig set up as an overlander, AluCab topper, awning, fridge in bed and dual swing out rear bumper with spare 37ā€ and at the time 5 gall fuel and 3 gallons water. Spent a week around Sedona and ended at Sand Hollow. Came out if the dunes and will admit I took a dune too fast to climb and it was sharper then I anticipated. Definitely jolted us but not airborne or anything close. When back in flat ground it looked like the pics of JT’s with bent frames, fairly obvious increased gap size between bed/cab with the top being bigger.
Made it ba k home, unloaded everything and pressure washed the undercarriage. The weird thing is the bed no longer looks weird, the gap is the same and no obvious bend in the normal spot. Will still have it looked at but fairly confused.

My bed is listing 3/4" to the driver side but I assumed that was from running it misloaded with an overlander setup where I had the batteries, tools, and refrigerator all on the driver side for a period of time. She was very squatty for awhile and I only noticed when putting a lightbar on my canopy that looks crooked. Guess it's time I go look at the mounts!
