Looks hard to shift into 4wd.
Not at all. Still very easy to shift. Obviously, the phone angle will change and slightly longer cord is needed (or just unplug). Also, you can just remove the mount, which takes just seconds.

I’ve got one from rugged ridge. Looks like carbon fiber and as though it’s from the factory. Only two screws to insert. I get compliments all the time.

My bulletpoint phone mount arrived yesterday. I got the passenger side mount because my other half is the navigator/electronics/map runner so all devices point towards her. MY job is to pay attention to the driving :)

I drive a front load trash truck all day and I cannot stand having shit in the windshield or on the dash...other than little ducks in the Jeep...
It’s mystifying how many people (all of them ?) are on their phucking phone texting and driving...
You can see everything from a big truck.
It’s sad. People die when drivers aren’t paying attention.
Don’t worry, rant over. When you see it all day every day, it begins to irritate the hell out of you. Especially when they are blocking traffic or doing very dangerous things in traffic because they are oblivious to the other traffic around them.

THIS^^^ is in every town, in every state, all across the nation, nobody cares anymore about driving!! I used to drive to work between 4-5 am you should see how many people are watching TV or movies driving down the road! my favorite were the ones long ago, opening and reading there mail or reading a book and waving to everyone who beeped at them, driving 25 MPH under the speed limit in the left hand lane, now its every person, in every car and everyone has a cell phone! and nobody cares that there sitting at a green light staring at there phone after the light has been green for 60+ seconds.................

I added a part," long ago" people reading there mail and reading books, still blows my mind, and the cell phone has made it crazier

#metoo. My wife doesn't have a problem, but I do. All that s**t up there piles up. And as someone who drives 8/10ths and above ? ... everything will eventually be on the ground.

I have one of these:

I bent this up out of sheet metal and I love it. I can see my phone for GPS and still see the full screen. It just clips on and is very secure. I could probably do more if anyone was interested.

Your passenger is going to have a bad time if that airbag deploys.

Another vote for offroam

I did not like how Bullet took up the center cubby, and the ram mounts seem obnoxiously big.
zero issues so far on or off road.

This is the way.

Offroam base + Spiegen MagSafe wireless charger.

Run cable behind dash panels for a clean install. Doesn't obstruct the windshield, which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

How easy is it to swap to the original offRoam for off road bouncing, or does the magnet hold it well through that?

If I could find a real working wireless CarPlay adapter this would be huge.
