Gotcha. They don’t mind technical. I’ve taken them on 9 rated trails and they took naps. They woke up and asked when the hard stuff was going to start. It’s more about how long they want to be in the car.

Looks like Middle St Vrain trail is delayed opening, not much of an explanation. We're switching to Johnny Park and Pierson Road for tomorrow, Saturday if anyone wants to come along. We'll meet at Circle K in Lyons at 9am and head to the trails from there.

Some great views today. Backup trails today were Johnny Park Road and Pierson Park Road. Got to the end of Pierson Park Road and there was a Jeep party happening. Not really a party, but a bunch there talking with a Forest Service Ranger about the possibilities of clearing the slide blockage of Pierson Park Road. The 2013 floods created a slide that took out the last part of the trail and it's been closed since. Stopped at St. Malo's church to air up. Videos coming later after they get uploaded.

We'll get you next time. We're going to hit Middle St Vrain as soon as it opens. After that, we'll hit the trails in your neck of the woods. Trying to do different trails than last year.

Hey all. Looking at Saturday July 16 or Sunday July 17, whichever is more available day for everyone to run Red Cone Pass. Thought I would put it out now so people can make plans if they want to come along. Looking to start on Highway 285 side, most common starting point for Front Range owners. Planned trail start time 8-9am. Let me know if you're interested.

That weekend isn't set in stone, but my next available weekend would be the 30 & 31 of July. I also have Thursdays. Just wanting to get a group of JT's out together on the beautiful iconic trails here in Colorado.
