We were down in Vegas last week and had a chance to get out to the Red Rock Canyon. Definitely worth the trip if you get the chance!

I like taking 93 and 50 in NV and all the highways in between. Lots of BLM areas.

And nothing tops Alaska Highway

We were down in Vegas last week and had a chance to get out to the Red Rock Canyon. Definitely worth the trip if you get the chance!

I believe the road you are referring to leads into the Red Rock park via Lovell Canyon, the trail itself is known as "Rocky Gap Road" and is actually one of the Badge of Honor Trails - the only one in Nevada. It is a blast.



I like to also do Wheeler Pass near Las Vegas, Nevada. It is an old wagon wheel trail that connected Las Vegas and Pahrump for trade before the 160 was in place.



Apex dunes used to be really cool, but with the city growing at the rate it is plus the number of idiots out there (plus their trash) I avoid that area.



The Hualapai mountains outside of Kingman AZ are also fun. If you look up the "Wild Cow Campground" there are many miles of trails. Some get dice. Good times.

The wife and I did the Trifecta (Poison Spider/Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim) in Moab on Sunday, and it was freaking amazeballs! Make sure you do the loop on Poison Spider. It adds 10 miles, but the views are 100% worth it!

We did the Demster highway. Omg, 1140 miles round trip. Easy except for pot holes, trucks, and Grizzly bears
