I am running Patagonia M/T's 38 X 15.5 R20 LT 1250 8PR. Max pressure is 50 psi. What's a good pressure for daily driving in civilization, and what pressure should I program TPMS to alert for low pressure?
How wide are the wheels you are running? The pats need to be run at a higher pressure than most big tires since they are designed to run on the center rib. I would try 32 but feel free to move up or down from there. I have 37x12.50 17s and run mine at 34 cold. If you are running wide wheels, your pressure will probably need to be higher to keep the crown on the tire.
You can't use that method with the Pats.. they are designed so that the outside tread blocks don't touch the ground unless they are aired down. Running them low will kill them in short order.
