Anyone could see you were trying to find a part - not complaining - so your post doesn't even fit.

Just like I popped in commenting on the general anger about parts supplies, you came in asking about finding a part. Don't see how you figured my post applied to you. It didn't.

Asking how to find or obtain a part isn't a complaint nor did you appear to make it one.

BTW - a rolled vehicle, one in a flood, may yield a good frame.

Sorry man the timing was what got me. I should probably just give the forum a break anyway - it's not really healthy reading about gladiators when you can't drive your own.

No worries - I should have been more clear! You weren't tossing a fit - just looking for some help.
There's so few of these trucks in our area - no chance of finding one that may have a good frame otherwise, a couple of yards are just 15 minutes from me and I'd be more than happy to look if it was found there were Gladiators in either of them. The big auction place is just minutes from me and I know how to ask to get to see a vehicle if one has ended up in their hands for auction. Then there's a pick n pull not more than a few blocks from them - good place to go for stuff.

And I get the other part, too - that's why I put in there I can imagine how I'd react if it was mine. I'm seeing it from afar now, but if it happened to me, I know me well enough to admit - I'd be right up there waving the flag - hey, Jeep, FIX MY TRUCK NOW!
As it is, because my timing was bad and the supply issues come into play, I will miss towing a car to a huge AMC event in Kenosha in a couple of weeks. My current truck is stripped, springs, brake controller and all and there will be zero time to prep the new one to tow - so I'll be once again, not taking a car there. Probably won't have time to get ready to tow to the big AMO event a couple of weeks after that and my car was a sr. gold winner in the past - normally past winners get lined up in a special area. But I had to order a new one, not really thinking ahead, more like "naw, it will be fine - won't happen to me" Oh, so wrong!! What the XXXX did I expect ordering when I did?? (I'll say it before someone else does! LOL)
