KB Voodoo three-quarter rack with the factory tonneau cover. RoofNest on top. I've been using it for two seasons. Did a loop through US continental and half a dozen trips up and down the East Coast. Maybe 150-200 nights up there. Even ran trails from Sedona to Uwharrie with it. No problems at...
After limping from Colorado to California, I used the JScan to clear the codes. Regens sling the way cleared the problem. After that, I crossed to Florida and then up to NY with no issues. Iām betting I either got a bad tank of diesel in western Nebraska, or got a little too eager with the EDT...
I understand your motivation, but I can assure you itās an EcoDiesel. Ordered July 2020 as soon as they became available, picked up late October. Been loving it ever since.
Take a look at any of my threads going back to when I was tracking my order. EcoDiesel all the way.
I spent six months in Blacksburg and had a lot of fun exploring the Jefferson National Forest. OnX has some trails marked, and a lot of the remote roads up there are enjoyable and a little challenging. Broad Run had a bunch of creek crossings, and Potts Mountain is a serious trail. No badges to...
If anyone knows of a fund or charity to honor her, share it please. Iām going to try and find a duck with red hair and get it in my dash to celebrate her.
Adding the fifth tire is a 25 percent addition to overall tire pool, so you add that much to tire life. Of course you have to buy the tire, and the wheel, so the extra lift comes at a cost. (roughly $700-800).
I used JScan to lower the tire pressure alert to 25 psi. Easy to do.
Of course, bigger tires make the speedo show speed below actual mph, so odometer ticks fewer miles than we actually travel, so we're all extending our warranty for free :like:
Good luck. I went out and took a good look at mine, and the inner blocks looks good. I rotate every 10K on a five-tire cycle, so the inner is always inner but rotational direction reverses when they go from right to left side. I run between 28 and 32, depending upon season and road surface I'll...
Nothing Iāve ever noticed, but Iāll take a harder look in the daylight. Noise has been low. Rain and snow and mud and sand are no issue. And they track beautifully at highway cruising speeds. Couldnāt be happier.
37ā M/T BB ATs installed late fall ā22, just past 45k on a five tire rotation. No issues on highway or in off-road use, and both have been pretty heavy. Honestly, the best set of tires Iāve ever owned. I expect another 10-15K easy, and Iāll get another set to replace them.
If your rig is right...
37s on stock gearing. Run rack and RTT for most of the year and still wheel some good trails. Put on plenty of interstate miles over 70 mph. No issues at all.
2021 JTRD just a few miles short of 90K. Nothing but torque and joy from coast to coast. I wouldnāt hesitate to do it again. If you can score a great deal on a new one, take it and enjoy.
OK, so I have about a year to catch up on. I'll try to keep it short and useful, and stick to the build and the lessons learned.
Since last winter's Florida shakedown tour for the overall system, I put on more than 30K road miles and a few thousand more trail miles going up the East Coast, all...
I'm a longtime WNY resident out of the area right now, but will be there for a chunk of May, June and July. I hope to map out a few places to get lost in WNY and Northern PA. There's a guy on YouTube who runs a lot of trails in the Allegheny National Forest. I might try to follow some of his...
