I heard back from Z Auto and it appears that some sensor bypass connectors went out with the mold not being filed down. So you can use razor blade to file it down and it would fit.
Purchased the Z Locker OEM and tried to install it but I cant plug in the truck's sensor wire into z locker female connector. Is the wire for 22 different than others? Reached out to Z Automotive but haven't heard back yet.
Both repairs are covered under warranty and they have already confirmed it. It's just matter of getting the parts. They don't have a ETA on that due to the strikes which also has impacted the warehouse that the parts comes from
I got the dreaded real axel locker light coming on randomly. At the same time, I was having an issue with the rear backup camera. I took it to the dealer and the tech is saying that there is oil in the sensor connector for the rear differential. Instead of changing the entire sensor as I have...
I hope to do the swap in a year or so. Do you mind sharing what was the final bill? Is it close to what they advertise on their site. They only mention the parts but not the labor piece.
This is the place i have gone to few times. It takes a while to get an appointment and you would need to make sure they don't forget anything because they are super busy but they do a good job:
The 4x4 Shop
I am in the same position. Have 37s and 3.5 lift with 5.13 gearing. I was looking at OP15 and some others in that range but after reading many different posts on the forum, I am going with something that fully loaded would be around 5K Lbs. I wanted something rugged so I can potentially take it...
Maybe the reason they didn't announce the 4xe is that they have so many 23's left and now giving huge discount to move them. It would hurt the sell of the 23s with so many people interested in the 4xe. Potential midyear introduction?
I am in the almost exact situation like you. I purchased my truck in Feb 2022 and have only about 2900 miles on it. Have built it over the past year and half with the mindset of using for camping and trails but wife came down with an illness and haven't been able to use it at all. Now that she...
Because that’s the last place I thought water from car wash would get in. I would understand if I was going through deep water but not sure how water from car wash jet would find its way inside the engine bay wall. Since so many people here most likely are running wires in through the same cap...
Went to car wash today for the first time (I wash the truck myself). During the wash, I felt water coming in from the driver door when it was going through the pressure rinse phase. Later I also noticed water on the corner and have no idea where it’s coming in. I assume this is not normal? Has...
My truck will be sitting for at least a month without any usage and there will be no-one to move it around. I wanted to see if that will impact the tires in any way. The tires are 37" MT Baja Boss.
I have an appointment with shop who installed to change it to cold next week. Will report back. Just a note that aDapt shock doesn't have 2 dials. It only has a single dial from 1 to 9.
I have 3.5" Clayton Overland + and 37 Mickey Thompsons Baja Boss ATs. I am getting vibration in the cabin. This is my first Jeep and first truck with bigger than stock tires. I am not sure how much (if any) vibration is expected in the cabin. I had the tires re-balanced over the weekend at...
I went on my first longer trip over the weekend and noticed that high speeds, when I went over change in pavement height due to overpasses, the truck would bounce unevenly, specifically the rear right. It felt like the rear left was softer than the other corners and responded differently. I...
