Oh......time for some searching. Of course, I've already spliced into the harnesses to bypass the ambient temp sensor wires. But as painful as it is to do, actually pulling the fuse box and getting a good look at the loom wouldn't be hard.. just time consuming. Maybe its a good...
Good point .... going to be a pain in the ass to find the short if it exists. That harness ends up being in the full body harness that runs along the back of the firewall and down through the passenger footwell.
in theory, if I have a short, I should be able to find continuity either to...
So..... AUX battery was replaced less than a year ago, I only have 6K on it and I keep the truck on a battery tender.
Randomly the hood ajar warning has shown up and the ambient temperature stopped working. Check Engine light is on and its throwing B181E-13 "hood ajar input circuit open" and...
I can't say enough good things about the JJUSA folks. They put on great events. BUT they are very popular and most sell out almost immediately. Most events will have a variety of trails ranging from basically forest roads to pretty serious trails that you need fully built out rigs to do...
Oh wow... way different setup for XY315 on a 2023 than on my 2020....
Yes, Pin 8 to Pin 26 and Pin 3 to Pin 27
On XY315 - Pin 8 is "door lock control", Pin 3 is "Door unlock control"
On XY600A - Pin 26 is "door lock control", Pin 27 is "Door unlock control"
You should double check the pin...
A quick check shows that the Dynatrac balljoints are almost 2x the price of the Synergy.. They might be rebuildable but got to ask yourself if you are going to rebuild them more than once and if rebuilding them is just as much work as replacing them.......
Certainly nothing wrong with...
Northridge did an install video a couple years ago that shows what's involved. Apex has improved the kit since then. The cooler now mounts where the high pressure line is on the frame rail.
I just did two kits (my JT and my wife's JL) .. both on 37s.. it's impressively better.
There are some interior shots in that Motortrend link. They painted out the dash and had Katzkin do the custom seats but otherwise its a 4xe rubicon interior.
Underneath it's entirely a 4xe so battery pack is in the same place (ie... under what was once the rear seats) which is now under...
Been a while since I did the 2014 JK .. but that worked, if I remember rightly on +/-12v on those two wires. ground one, 12v on the other, door locks, switch wires, door unlocks.
So... starting to get way more complicated than I'm entirely comfortable guessing for you. I just don't...
And ... if you didn't know.
Poison Spyder, Pro Comp USA, Rubicon Express Suspension, G2 Axle & Gear, Trail Master Suspension, and Smittybilt were all owned by Transamerica Auto Parts which also owed the 4 Wheel Parts chain. They blew up last summer, went bankrupt (I believe...) and ended up...
Mule is great. They are really more of an overland shop (and they do that VERY well) but certainly know how to build a Jeep. We had our JL re-geared there; mostly because it's closer than Northridge. They have an open house on the 22nd... worth dropping in and seeing all the rigs that will...
It's pretty much dead center above the sound bar. I have intermittent problems when I put the big pelican case up top ... just the rack seems ok. I have one of the relocation brackets .. just procrastinating doing the work.
Yep.. its a thing.
Maximus-3 makes a relocation bracket to move the antenna to just over the driver side sun visor.

They were 14 gauge wires on the JKs, not sure what they are on the JL/JTs but likely the same.
There is a Mopar Connection Repair Kit site that lists every connector .. it shows "Gauge 2" for the Pins.

There is significantly more details on the...
