  1. Genesis batteries - lets do some math

Renogy has some basic kits that might work. https://www.renogy.com/100-watt-12-volt-monocrystalline-foldable-solar-suitcase-with-voyager/ That is pretty cheap, but it is a less efficient pwm controller. I'd recommend going with an mppt instead. But depends on where you Camp really. I'd...
  2. Destination Unknown - 2022 JTR journal

Overall it wasn't a bad install in my experience, but I will agree that pulling out the factory battery try was unnecessarily painful...
  3. Genesis batteries - lets do some math

I have a Domestic CFX55il, single zone freezer or fridge. It does have an ice cube tray which is awesome to have ice at the end of a hot day.. That definitely takes some juice so I only ran it while driving, I think it needed about 2ish hours to freeze. Ice cubes notwithstanding, the fridge...
  4. Rory (TrailMater) fixing a broken Jeep Gladiator knuckle on the trail

Didn't really look like there would be enough room to just drill another hole. Probably more likely to blow out again anyway.
  5. Relocate 12v plug

Might be worth just grabbing a cheap meter from harbor freight to check the ones you have.
  6. Relocate 12v plug

Ah, well that could be the issue... That sucks.
  7. Genesis batteries - lets do some math

To be honest I haven't actually tried it on mine, ess is just always disabled with my tazer. I may try it out just for kicks.
  8. Relocate 12v plug

That's really strange. Are these the quadratec harness or one off Amazon? It would definitely be strange to have 2 bad ones, but anything is possible.
  9. Relocate 12v plug

So even your unmodified harness didn't work? It will definitely be difficult to trouble shoot without a volt meter unfortunately.
  10. Relocate 12v plug

Did you check the fuse? I assume you tested it with the truck in ACC or run?
  11. Jeep Unveils 7 Easter Jeep Safari 2023 Concept Vehicles, including Gladiator Rubicon Sideburn Concept and Scrambler 392 [Updated w/ Videos]

Sideburn is pretty cool, but where is the hurricane? I like the Scrambler, but again, why no hurricane? All the electric stuff is interesting from a technical perspective, but pretty meh as far as getting me excited..
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Are those the red rock sliders? https://www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-4x4-jeep-gladiator-bed-side-rock-rails-jg2317.html I got a set last September and the welds were bad on the support that bolts to the frame. I took a video while I was pushing up on the slider...
  13. Genesis batteries - lets do some math

Lol.. I will add that during winter I pull the lifepo4 battery out and just put a jumper in its place, so anything that was running off it is running of the Genesis aux battery. I don't really Camp in weather less than 32 degrees, so it's really just my bed lights and occasionally the fridge if...
  14. Genesis batteries - lets do some math

I put in a 40ah lifepo4 "house" battery last year with a renogy dcc50s charger https://www.renogy.com/dcc50s-12v-50a-dc-dc-on-board-battery-charger-with-mppt/ and their 175 watt flexible solar panel for my trip out west. It was mainly to run my dometic fridge and some Camp lights. It works...
  15. Please, what is this?

If you buy a hard top from Mopar separate from the truck it doesn't come with those 2 trim pieces for some reason. I just had to buy them a few months ago myself.
  16. Tail Light Lens

Yeah, you will need the whole assembly unfortunately.
  17. New York FREE-2021 Mojave plastic bumper

Bumper is getting tossed this weekend...
  18. New York Free - 2021 Mojave factory sliders

These are getting tossed this weekend...
  19. How often should I lower and raise my spare to ensure the cable continues to function?

In my opinion it mostly depends on where you live/drive the most.. If you live in UT or AZ you can probably ignore it until you need it lol. If you live in the rust belt like I do I probably check and lube it up at least a couple of times over the course of the winter. I'm not worried about...
