As stated, no level needed unless you add a lot of weight up front (mine below on 35's stock bumper).
My first 5 were:
1. LED headlights (eleminated the need for any forward projecting Aux lighting)
2. Gator hard cover (I hunt and leave the Jeep in some pretty remote places so wanted somewhat...
Yeah, something's not right on a mostly stock Mojave and getting less than 12mpg. I've averaged 18.5 over the first 10,000 miles and about 7000 of those are on 35's. The factory 285/70-17's are heavy as hell, but shouldn't be hurting mileage that bad.
I've debated changing to bronze several times, but the gunmetal gray are hanging on . I've also never been a fan of black as they all look the same from more than 20 feet away. However, I've been told several times my Jeep would look badass with black wheels ?. So it really is personal preference.
I too like the simple look, but don't like the poke I have with the current Qtec wheels. Looking for some that tuck the wheel back under the fender for the most part.
4.75" backspacing, -6 offsset. I do like the stance, but I live way out in the country, most homes have a dirt or gravel driveway and everytime it rains, I'm slinging mud all over the truck. And, if I actually go offroad, it's a bit ridiculous :)
The RokBlokz have helped tremendously, but still...
Quadratec Baja Xtreme in gunmetal with 33" Falken's on my 20 Sport:
Moved them to my 21 Mojave with 35" Bridgestone but currently looking for new rims as not really feeling these with the Snazberry and they stick out about 2" and throw crap everywhere:
@MattHamilton is correct. Only 4 wires to run (+ and - to battery, Fused wire if you so desire to make it only operate when Jeep is on, and the control wire harness back into the Jeep where the control switches mount.
You then run your accessories to the Voswitch box under the hood (no need to...
I have the Quadratec Baja Xtreme (4.75) and 315-70/17 tires...they stick out way too much (about 2"). Just added a set of Roblokz and will see if that helps the messs they make:
YEs, There's a Youtube video out there somehwere that show show to install them (so reverse for removal). The rear brackets are easy but the front require removing the upper windheield trim inside and its a pain. Only tool is whatever socket fits it (10mm or 13mm I believe)
YEs...if you don't, they're about $300 from Quadratec. Or, DV8 sells a kit for $99 on Amazon. Hopefully my link works:
