So, I'm basically (from my perspective) closing this thread. The car is sold to a new and hopefully happy owner. If there is anything you'd like to know, feel free to drop me a personal message though.
So, to answer a few of the questions I've received here and on other forums:
Traveling with a dog:
A small(ish) dog is probably okay with you in the camper, maybe up to the size and agility of a border collie. I would not recommend using this rig with a larger dog, since the interior is...

I’m thinking $64k to move it reasonably quickly. Still writing the full description. We are very busy right now and while this is one of the big items, it’s not the most pressing one …
The truck only has a bit over 20k miles and is in great condition.
Just an FYI:
This rig is now for sale. For sale post and video showing everything is coming, probably early next week. If you are interested or know somebody who might be, reach out, price will be very competitive.
Hey folks, I have a slightly unrelated question for the specialists here:
How would you go about selling a fully build Gladiator with Canopy Camper including full interior build in the easiest and safest way possible? Given that it's not "just a Jeep Gladiator", but more a customized camper, I...
Agreed. From a longevity perspective I'd prefer a welded rack, instead of one with so many relatively small bolts,, but the extrusions have significant advantages. We have added MaxTrax mounts and this works great.
It also reduced highway fuel consumption, giving us a slightly longer range.
Another idea is, if the crossbar is attached via a 90 degree bracket to prevent the crossbar from rotating. I'd need to see more details to be of more help.
Does the opposite site have a hole to reach a bolt? If yes, it might just be a custom bumper to deal with non-precise cuts (lengths) of the crossbars.
Connections like this:
Have to be ultra-precise to work properly. If there are slight discrepancies in length for various batches, the...
Unfortunately, we also missed the opportunity to advertise our Jeep. Weren't sure when and where we'd move. That got clarification today, so the Jeep will go within the next year. Bummer, we spent so much time and effort on it. New country, new build. We'll just have to see what it'll be.
We ended up being there for three nights since we met up with some friends and half the time we were just spending time with them ...
It was an interesting expo, seems I saw a few more interesting products that are along the lines of conserving nature and leaving a smaller ootprint, not just...
We’ll be there today and tomorrow, camping for two nights, then heading back home.
My wife has never been there and wanted to go before we move out of the US … might even find someone interested in our Jeep …
