I had this and other related DEF codes on my 2022 EcoDiesel. I checked all wiring and found no issues. The ultimate fix was dropping the DEF tank and cleaning it out along with the sensor and sending unit.
Poor quality DEF had crystallized in the tank.
For what itās worth, the quotes Carvana and Carmax gave me for my Ram jumped up $2500 this week. You might get a quote from them as theyāre offers are pretty aggressive.

Add-ons are worthless in the aftermarket to 99% of the buying public. Take a Sport S that the dealer slapped a lift, wheel/tire package and winch on prior to selling along with a $8k addendum.
When trying to trade in or sell the vehicle youāll lose not recoup...
Went and looked at a ā25 Rubicon yesterday. Asking $45k ($12k discount) but out the door price was $52k with TTL and the āvalue addā crap.
Iām going to pass but hereās the link for anyone interested.
ā21 and ā22 dieselās go for $30-$36k in DFW depending on trim. Granted, theyāre not new and have a few miles on them but saving $15-$20k is attractive.
Iād love to find a JTRD with a blown engine.
CAFEā¦. most people canāt or wonāt drive a manual transmission. Jeep dropped the automatic on the V6 hoping sales numbers would drop in turn lowering their CAFE exposure. Keeping the automatic for the 2.0 and 4XE will hopefully lower their exposure.
Bring me who thought this was a good decisionā¦..
In 17 monthsā¦.Iāll break even selling my 2023 Ram to the nearest used car lot. This is my 7th and last late model Stellantis vehicle of any variety. My 2002 TJ needs a little engine work and itāll be back on the road.
Your average mid-sized truck buyer isnāt looking at the Gladiator as the competition offers better value.
The Gladiator is a great vehicle but itās a niche vehicle. Those that own them arenāt trading every 18 months as thereās nothing new to offer that improves on its capability.
