  1. Ughh..392 swap in JTR or just buy a damn 392

Good choice on going with the swap. I’ve looked at the 392 wrangler and can’t get past the clutch pack driving the front wheels. I prefer mechanical connections.
  2. Ecodiesel; Leaking EGR cooler?

The overflow bottle has a drain hose that allows pressure and coolant to bleed off. Put some gauze or something similar in or around the hose. Run around for 30 minutes, park it and if the gauze get damp you’ve found the ā€œleakā€. If it’s bone dry, you may want to get a second opinion.
  3. Wow, Hurricane 6 engine has no dip stick?

We live in a throw away society where the norm is to replace rather than repair. Why check your oil periodically and catch an issue before it becomes a problem when you can buy a new one? All my CAT engines have dip sticks, over 400k miles and still going strong.

  12. Ever thought to rent out your tools?

Nope. I spent 20 years and $400k amassing these tools. Go get your own... From the business perspective, you'll need a good legal team and insurance to rent anything to anyone that has no business using these specialty tools. One oopsie, someone gets hurt and they'll come after you for...

  14. P026D - The saga continues

Late to the diagnosis party here…. P026D is a symptom code and usually not the underlying issue. More fuel from an over fueling injector causes these variable geometry turbos to freak out and want to push more air. Cracks in the charge tube will create an under boost condition which is rare...
