Hi, Iām Scott and Iām an addictā¦just kidding (I think?). I purchased my ā21 Gladiator back in March 2021 and itās my first Jeep. Iāve spent way too much money on this thing but regret none of it š
Purchase day
Now
Pro Comp 32 series wheels for my 37s. Nothing fancy since Iām not really into wheels on trucks like thatā¦just something simple and functional works for me. Beadlocks were well out of my price range right now, so didnāt bother there. Iād rather use that kind of money for a regear anyway.
That...
Maybe I should send them my resumeā¦
Resume header:
Daily Mopar Guy, SPJE (Self Proclaimed Jeep Expert)
Mission Statement: Will offer multiple V8 engine options in the Gladiator starting at $25,999.
*Profits not guaranteed during tenure, but customers will be highly satisfied. The customer...
Or maybe theyāre limited to the 2ā liftā¦lmao.
I knew there were some weird laws in MA but my goodness. Iāll have to go through the shop I found or pick it up in PA when I visit the in-laws lol.
Edit: It actually just might be ExtremeTerrain abiding to this. Donāt think those springs will work...
Warranty fears would be my best guess. Also some people prefer to work with dealers which likely limits them to what Mopar offers.
I also wouldnāt be surprised if good shops are hard to find some places, so the dealer may be the only option for some people.
None that come to mind outside of replacing all the control arms. Probably overkill though. I donāt have the Mopar lift kit, so Iām just going off what Iāve read from other owners. As is, Iāve only read good things about it, especially when replacing the track bars.
Edit: If youāre adding a...
Definitely. Good deals at Metal Cloak rn. Hell I may grab another rear one since mine doesnāt have the bend. Iām tired of having my spare in the bed lol
Yessir, max tow package. Here it is with the 37s and wheel spacer. Speaking of articulation though, I personally would go for a 3.5ā lift for 37s. I have 2.5ā in the front and 1-3/8ā in the rear, but I canāt do any off-roading like this lol.
Maybe that AEV spring lift kit is like Claytonās 2.5ā...
35s will be fine with 12.5ā wide section. 37s will need wheel spacers to clear the front lower control armsā¦Iām running a 1.75ā hub centric wheel spacer for my 37s.
I looked mine up here. Youāll likely see these lines I highlighted below too in the Options section. I think youāve got the Max Tow package but I could be wrong
Edit: I see you have a 2024 Nighthawk edition. I probably am wrong since Iām not familiar with that particular model...
I do not believe this will work even if the truck is on pavement 100%. Hereās my Max Tow on 37sā¦2.5ā front level, 1-3/8ā rear lift, and 1.75ā wheel spacers.
I know you said non-max tow but I just wanted to provide a reference point for ya. I wouldnāt do 37s without a lift, let alone 3.73...
Im flip flopping more than a politician. Iām back on the 5.13 boat.
- 37s now, maybe 38s in the future
- 300 lbs minimum extra weight in gear, tools, and topper (sometimes north of 500lbs)
- Hilly region with frequent trips to mountains
- Minimal rock crawling but I think more over the next few...
Will I be able to smell this inside of the truck while driving? I have a strange aversion to peppermint (maybe I have some rodent in my ancestry idk).
We have field mice in the area and my truck sits for long periodsā¦7-14 days at a time.
