Lots of good info here, thanks. And yup, the truck smooths out some towards 75 mph just like what you experienced before.
The drive shaft makes sense too. I never installed the carrier bearing spacer that I bought like a year ago. Hell, I don’t even know where I stored it lol.
Lots of things...
Let me start this by saying it is NOT D**th W***le. I have also checked the torque on everything and no issues there, everything was to spec.
A couple of months ago, I was dealing with some steering wheel vibrations after getting my new 37” Mickey Thompson tires (55-65mph). I had them balanced...
Yea I called Stellantis hoping they could start it remotely and drive home like that. They kinda gave me a runaround. The hotel found my key before I could call the other number that Stellantis gave me.
It all worked out though. It’s snowing a shit ton here right now and it’s really beautiful...
Yea I usually don’t even do valet. I was tired and said screw it though haha.
All good now, they found the key and gave us an extra night stay on the house.
I will definitely start being both from now on haha.
They actually just found it luckily. One of the guys accidentally brought the key home in his pocket. Pockets are big no-no’s in the valet biz apparently (makes sense). Hotel made it all right though. No complaints.
Was going to drive it around Stowe, VT but the hotel valet lost my key fob. I ALMOST brought my spare for some reason too (no idea why).
They think it may have fallen out of the valet guy’s pocket into another customer’s car LOL
You’re not on those 32” sport tires though are you? I thought you had some 33s. Very little difference but I’m a bit of fender gap connoisseur. It’s subjective of course.
If I were OP, I’d go minimal lift and 33” ATs but he doesn’t seem to want bigger tires.

Anything less than 2 inches really wouldn’t be worth the trouble in my opinion…not for your goal anyway.
Edit: it will look goofy with factory sized tires. Just fyi.
I expect that number to get worse given how stupid high car prices are right now. Imagine someone financing $60k for one of those shitty Toyota Trailhunters today….maybe it’ll hold its value like the old TRD Pros but idk lately.
Edit: Sixty f**king thousand dollars for a Tacoma! It is mind...
I’ve read and heard a lot of good feedback on there AWE Trail Edition cat back. It’s especially good because the high clearance design though.
If you aren’t gonna off-road it, then screw it, get something with side exits. No reason to go with a tucked tip design.
These are the exhaust brands...
What about the Carb laws? I thought Cali requires the engine to come from a VIN’d vehicle with all its emissions parts. Same model year or newer as well (5.7L from a 1500 or 6.4L from a 2500).
No smog test sure, but one asshole cop away from losing your baby. Seems risky.
Edit: I may be...
