Gotcha. None of mine are momentary, but I did think about my train horn on one of those switches, but its too far away to be practical. Yes, I have 4-horn train horn w/air compressor on my JT! :)
Just seeing this thread. I'm looking at replacing my factory belts. With the doors off, hitting 70mph, these flimsy OEM belts make it feel like I'm going to get sucked out of the Jeep during any cross-wind. I too want Red, but I'm more inclined to want a 4-point harness style.
All my orders (so far) have been fulfilled with a week of ordering. Case in point, my recent order of the Lange Hoist-a-top took 4 days from order to receipt via FEDEX..
Next up: Replacement fenders and an upgrade from 37" tires to 39" tires! <now that my axles will support the upgrade!>
Also, just picked up my Quadratec Powered Hoist-a-top (roof hoist).
My favs in the area between Green River & Moab are:
the Pickle
Bartlett Wash (Hidden Canyon)
Book Cliffs above Thompson Springs
Tusher Canyon (Pictographs/panels/indian art)
M&M (Monitor & Merrimac)
3D Jeep Trail (accessed via Bartlett Wash area)
the Orange Trail into White Wash Sands and 10...
I might recommend you stay in Green River then.. and run this area instead of Moab:
38°46'35.9"N 109°51'14.7"W
I could spend a week in Green River exploring the Book Cliffs and the area North of Moab..
I've run most of the technical trails in Moab in my JT. Note that I have a 2" lift on 37's and I still scraped the rear end on some of the more steep drop-offs. For those asking if they need lockers or massive upgrades: NO.. just take your time and use prudent throttle control! :)
As of 1 May...
Mine's in the shop at Impulse Offroad for lockers, upgraded axles, re-gear to 4.88 and Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks. So far, they seem to have their act together.
I bought Rubicon axles, so the Electronic Locking diffs that come on a Rubicon. My JT is a Sport-S, so just updating it to be more capable. Likely could have been less expensive to just trade it in for a Rubicon, but I already have a fair amount of $ invested in this JT, so..
So, an update.
JT is in the shop for upgraded axles, re-gearing to 4.88, lockers (front & rear) and replacement of the FOX 2.0 shocks with Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks on all four corners!
