  1. Jeep Gladiator Easter Egg?

Likely does the same exact thing my Ram 3500 does.. usually I don't notice because I'm driving and have the music up..
  2. License plate suggestions

This is what I got here in Utah!
  3. Hooking up to Power Source

The JT already comes with 4x AUX power ports. I have to assume you're wiring up more than 4 devices? In my RAM3500, I went with this for extra powered devices to include my air compressor and train horns! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DN99FCR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. LED Side Markers

Gotcha, here I think they'd ticket me if I removed the amber. Hell, they're ticketing for no mud flaps and I bought this JT with 2" lift on 37's w/no mud flaps! :surprised: I just assumed mine was odd because when I checked YouTube on replacing the rear tail light bulbs, they were incandescent...
  5. LED Side Markers

Maybe my JT is an odd build, but I have a Sport-S and the tail lights are LED and the side markers are LED, but the fogs and headlights + turn signals were all old school filament style bulbs. I thought about doing this mod too, but saw I already had LED side markers. Strange..
  6. Remove Side marker housing (Front/right)??

I stand corrected. A magnetic pick-up tool did the job! Just enough metal on the "teeth" for the magnet to grab! Wow!
  7. Remove Side marker housing (Front/right)??

I thought about that, but these LED bulbs appear to be 100% plastic.
  8. Remove Side marker housing (Front/right)??

Went to replace my bulb (passenger side turn signal) and it fell inside the housing. I've tried everything to get it out. I assume the only way now is to remove the entire assembly and shake the bulb out. What I've tried: -Pick-up claw tool (it just ended scratching the inside of the lense)...
  9. LED Bulb Replacement - IT WORKS!

So, I bought all the bulbs suggested in this thread. When I went to install the rear, I discovered they were already LED's. I replaced the front turn signal bulbs with LED and now I have fast flash on the instrument panel, though the lights themselves appear to be blinking normally. 100% LED now!
  10. Anecdotal information (RotoPax 4 Gallons)

Concur. I have an overlanding trip possibly coming up that's 450 miles before the next fuel..
  11. Anecdotal information (RotoPax 4 Gallons)

All I can tell you is that I had 1/4 tank of fuel in the JT. I added the 4gal Rotopax into the tank, then the gauge reported I had a 1/2 tank. I make no claims to 100% accuracy, it was just an anecdotal observation. Nothing scientific to report here.
  12. Swapping dealer installed Fox2.0 for Falcon shocks

Yes, as I understand it, standard Rubi shocks. Total shit show on pavement or dirt. Its like riding in a bounce house. I'm now 12,000miles in and thought the side to side and bouncy nature was supposed to be a good ride. I was so wrong..Damned near put my head through the roll bars and...
  13. Swapping dealer installed Fox2.0 for Falcon shocks

Our dealership installed a 2" Mopar lift + Fox 2.0 shocks before we took ownership. These Fox 2.0 shocks are total crap and a bounce house of horrors, but especially offroad. We're going with some Falcon SP2 or 3.3 shocks as suggested by Teraflex (a company just 3 miles north of me). Feedback?
  14. Anecdotal information (RotoPax 4 Gallons)

One 4 gallon RotoPax = 1/4 tank of fuel. When I'm overlanding, I carry 1x 4Gal and 2x 2Gal RotoPax fuel cans.. so, that = 1/2 tank of fuel or nearly 200 miles of travel. Who else routinely hauls extra fuel in their JT? How much, what container?
  15. Badge of Honor Trails

Maybe its just me, but I thought our JT was reasonably priced, even after the mods added. Candidly, I was ready to buy a new Ford F450 Dually, but was able to buy the JT and a JLU for less $..
  16. Badge of Honor Trails

Reviving this thread. I just got my Poison Spider and Hells Revenge badges in today. I placed both on the drivers side hood cowl.. which allowed some space for more badges! Top of the World is next!
  17. Red Rock'n Utah Firecracker Build

~11,000 miles into the Red Gladiator and so far, so good. Just completed over 200 miles of offroad in the Moab area and finally made contact with the rear receiver hitch on some super steep drops. About to change out the FOX2.0 shocks for either Falcon SP2's or 3.3's. Likely also going to get...
  18. Hummer Electric Pickup first look. Are we missing an electric Gladiator?

No way would I want a pure EV Gladiator here in Utah. There are no power stations, let alone fuel stations in the remote west deserts of Utah and Nevada. Additionally, I'd not want to haul a generator plus the necessary fuel for said generator around with me. Until they figure that out, EV...
  19. JP's Super-Duper-Gladiator Build Thread

So, when, if ever will this mall crawler see dirt or mud? :giggle:
  20. Red Rock'n Utah Firecracker Build

So far, so good. Though its supposed to be aluminum, I do see a few rust spots forming.
