Most deflators are preset to 18 PSI. Trails/fireroads I usually run 15-18 PSI. Rocks at about 10-12...
I don't run beadlocks, but at 10 PSI and some moderate rocks/off-camber, I've yet to break a bead on a run.
I don't currently run them, but I have on many previous rigs.
The only real "downside" to them is you have to be a little more cautious when removing/carrying your doors. You will crack them...
@Frenzy did a pretty good job explaining some of the benefits, and I've gone through similar iterations with OBA setups.
I'd highly recommend the twin compressor over the single...it pays in the long run. Speed, duty-cycle, expandable...prefer to do it right once...even if that means waiting a...
That 813 kit is legit. I'd also offer Grimm Offroad has a OBA great kit for the ARB compressors I'm running on my JT. Very clean, same driver side underhood mounting location with the compressor on the firewall under the master cylinder.
I've run OBA on 3 of my previous rigs as well...always...
@JcrOffroad, what's the width of the cargo area/basket? Looking at the half rack (to work with my sunrider), but trying to determine how easy it would be to fab tab mounts, bolt them on to the wind fairing, and be able to mount my Rigid SR-50 from my JK.
I know you offer a cut out fairing for...
So far, big fan of the Rugged Ridge Armis soft rolling. Plus, it worked with all my other bed accessories (cargo rails, molle panels, roll bar...). Not 100% waterproof, but has keep everything very dry in heavy rain and even held up against ~12" of snow on it.
@RebelOffRoad, any chance you plan on making the Halo racks in a non-drill mount? Love that rack, but would prefer a non-drill/drip rail mount version!
Excellent chart! Wish I could have found something like that when I was in the market for them.
Ultimately, I went with 813 Fab and am a big fan. Being a Florida man...anytime I can avoid steel for a quality aluminum product, I take it. Keeps the time/cost of maintenance (pull, and...
Easy, quick, clean install! Fit the 3-gal Rotopax perfect. Also, nicely compatible with the Artec crossbars...rest right on top of the MOLLE panel and lines up with cargo rail perfect.
Just so everyone knows...Rotopax has apparently discontinued a bunch of things, including the 3 gal pax.
Found a UTV shop with some still in stock, but apparently they're about to change their offerings up. Lots of things being discontinued.
As soon as I get mine in next week and get them...
I just got the side panels and rotomounts in from you this past week. Initial look is quality build and much lighter than expected! Waiting on the rotopax to come in and plan to mount a 3-gal rotopax to each bedside between the wheel well and rear tie down point. Based on measurements, should...
There are plenty of other non Mopar aftermarket setups for mirrors. A few that mount to the cowl bolts as well so you wouldn't have to remove them to put doors back on. Having seen a few JKs that ran the A-pillar windows...it always looked goofy with two sets of mirrors near the pillar when...
