Yup, trying to gather up some of their accessories, though I have a Warn up front. Picked up one of their soft shackles this afternoon and got an aluminum shackle mount from Santa Claus. Have their forged snatch block on the list for tomorrow.
Tactik 742 from Quadratec. With so many great choices out there, it's crazy tough to grab one and go. Just had to narrow down by specifications, color and price, ended up with 5.
Yup, don't downgrade your equipment here, nothing like the piece of mind knowing that ya don't have to worry about the capabilities of your tow vehicle. And nothing like the cab space of a full size truck, the JT sucks in this department, but it's a little truck and it's suppose too.
Though...
Think it's going to be a what ya ordered and where ya live situation. I'm a few states South of their Pennsylvania location and the large ticket items I've ordered have arrived the next day, front bumper, rims, steering stabilizer. Smaller items can take more time, even if ordered at same time...
I found that the message you are getting " start/stop not ready, battery charging" is about the main battery. If the auxiliary battery is bad then you will only see "start/stop not ready". Of course this is provided all other requirements have been met to allow the start/stop to operate...
Best NOT to put yourself and your equipment in question. Plain and simple, a safety hazard. If you like and choose to keep your truck, then I would eye something 500 to 1k lbs lighter. If you're dead set on the camper you're looking at, then you need to step up to a 1/2 ton truck.
Good luck
I change the oil when the engine is cold, you might have to plan ahead, so usually I'll park in the shop the night before. Engine was already hot so oil was able to drain to pan and little to no mess when removing filter. My old 5.9 Cummins is the same and it has a vertical filter with the...
Tires will be Kenda Klever AT, 315-70-17, those Walmart specials from a while back. I've been running them on the stock rims but it's time to upgrade to something wider with 5" or better back spacing, in the hopes of keeping everything in the wheel well as possible. Out of all the possibilities...
Installed a Fox through shaft stabilizer, had to work on the top two holes in the mounting bracket, which was a bummer. I had read some reviews where other folks were having trouble with hole alignment and my case was no different. Think the engineers at Fox need to loosen up on their tolerances...
I get that at times as well, my experience started when I went from 285s to 315s. I too believe it is a balance issue and I also believe the alternative shop I used wasn't capable of balancing a 35" tire, yet I was assured they could. No wheel weights to be found, bet beads were used. Get what...
