There are aftermarket rails that build in a step. Some are just wider to act as a step, some have retractable steps. If I replace my Rubi rails it will be with ones that have a step on top, the retractable ones are way too expensive and don't serve a purpose for my tall frame.
Why add a roll bar? the truck comes built with a roll bar if safety is your concern. If it's purely aesthetic then you have to decide which is more important.
Because the roll bar needs to mount in the bed a hard cover will have to be custom formed to the specific bar and everything has to be...
Paint the wheels if it's that big a deal and you want to save for other things. Heck if you wanted to just give it a try a few cans of black plastidip and half an afternoon your wheels will be black and can be changed whenever you like for $20
There won't be any benefit of that hood scoop. In order to have a function it needs to be over something useful, the air needs to be directed, and it needs to be of sufficient size to let the proper amount of air into the engine bay.
Typically hood scoops are used to introduce cold air to the...
Manual or auto? I'm planning for the future (likely a couple years out at least) and wouldn't mind 37s if I don't need to regear. 33s already bog the manual in 5th and 6th but I know how to downshift so NBD as long as 1-4 still put power down.
I find the calculator on mine to read high based on my actual calculations. I'd suffer checking against real math before quoting the machine. Never had a car that was accurate
I have the 7" and I think the clock is absurdly small on it, and when I had android auto connected it was in a completely different location looking at google maps. I feel your pain on this to a degree. I'm going to try what the poster up there said put it in the cluster, that's a great spot...
If it's not in your line of sight have it filled, that will help prevent any spreading.
I had a chip in my car's windshield for 4 years, passenger side so it never bothered me. Last winter I was moving some 10' long trim and put it up on the dash board to fit in my car, barely touched the...
IMO 20s+ with offroad tires look ridiculous, as do most modern truck wheel styles. I, personally, would run 35s on 17s and I want a set of proper offset 17x9 AEV pintlers in light bronze/gold.
But my tastes are not yours.
Step 1 is knowing what fits and the implications of going with...
Looks like you have a soft top - any issues getting to the latches with this installed? I toss my top up in the truck then step outside to roll it all the way back (I'm tall, can easily do it from the ground). Does this interfere with the sun visors sitting up and flush?
NERD ALERT!
That's a good explanation but I think it may be even more than that. With just the freedom panels off there shouldn't be much wrapping into the cab - due to the sharp transition to the roof there will be a much taller boundary layer. Instead it will flow over the top and, like any...
Same. Unless it's a mechanical parts change it's just things you do to a car/truck. Floor mats - have them in my car. As well as a trunk mat. Trucks get bed liners and sometimes tonneau covers. Decals? Every crappy car at C&C is loaded with them.
Give me the wheels and tires, armor...
I haven't gotten anywhere near those numbers but I also drive with the soft top back almost exclusively, and a lot of stop and go near the house which I'm sure don't help much. It would be nice if the top would drop all the way back instead of just the sun rider position
Even with 4.10s and 33s maintaining speed in 5th or 6th uphill unloaded can be a challenge below 65. These do not have the low end grunt to manage that. You're only turning what, 1500rpm to go 60-65 in 6th gear with your setup? You need more revs. The engine just can't manage the torque at...
