  1. Anyone remove the hitch when wheeling?

It's more about improved departure angle than it is about scratching.
  2. Anyone remove the hitch when wheeling?

I haven't looked, but I'm going to guess bolts.
  3. Anyone remove the hitch when wheeling?

Receiver. I'm not that dumb. :)
  4. Anyone remove the hitch when wheeling?

I've been watching some videos and everyone is dragging their hitch.
  5. San Antonio

Did you ever get in touch with SAJE? I am getting the itch to wheel again and I will be joining them soon.
  6. What backspacing and width wheels for 37 12.50s?

That changes everything. Thank you. :)
  7. What backspacing and width wheels for 37 12.50s?

This whole offset thing is not sinking in. If our factory wheels are -44, why does discount show the most negative offset as -12 and AEV wheels are +25? When I used the the wheel offset app that shows the tire tucked way inside.
  8. What backspacing and width wheels for 37 12.50s?

JTR with Mopar lift. And I assume no rubbing? What width are they?
  9. What backspacing and width wheels for 37 12.50s?

    JTR with Mopar lift.
  10. What backspacing and width wheels for 37 12.50s?

Right now I'm rocking the factory tires with a 2" lift until they wear out, but I'm looking for a set of 37 12.50s for off roading only. What backspacing and width will guarantee no rubbing? I don't like tires to stick out, so the further in without rubbing the better. Thank you.
  11. Water leak above passenger door

I just noticed the same issue for the first time today. I have never and will never remove my top. It comes in over the black weather stripping on the corner of the body where water drains from the roof. Lands on the door handle just like yours. I guess I'll get the clutch recall done at the...
  12. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

I have not had any reflashes since I picked mine up last year. What have they changed and have their been any complaints about changes?
  13. 392 wrangler

Why can't we just get a 4.xL V8? Why does it have to be a monster that the drivetrain can't handle? Who am I kidding? If they can't put a manual behind the diesel, they won't behind a V8 either..
  14. Manual Transmission Club

If I was in the market for a jeep type SUV I would be fine with the turbo-4. It's got enough torque to get me by and buys me a manual transmission. I still want the simplicity of a straight axle, and I really wish Ford would have gone that route. There is a reason people buy the shit out of...
  15. Manual Transmission Club

But my solid front axle. :( Damnit Ford.
  16. Manual Transmission Club

Anyone else have a complaint about the gearing of 1st and reverse? Pulling two jet skis out of a steep boat ramp and backing any trailer is a pain in the ass. Reverse is way taller than it should be, and I would argue that 1st is as well. If the Bronco 7 speed manual is really a thing I'm...
  17. Looking for photos of Gladiator w/ Tall and Skinny Tires...

Do your wheels make you have a wider stance?
  18. Anybody hoping for a shotgun/rifle storage

I highly recommend you put your truck rifles behind the rear seat and lock it. That locking mechanism is pretty hefty, and I don't think criminals look behind the back seat of a truck for loot. It's not as easily accessible, but we're much more likely to be burgled than a SHTF need my rifle in...
  19. Manual Transmission Club

One comment I have on this transmission is that a 6 or 7 speed with granny gear would have been better, and more importantly, reverse is way too tall for backing trailers. I wouldn't mind if reverse went half as fast as it does. When I back trailers with my F-350 I often put it in 4Lo but I...
