  1. GMRS License

So far my communication has been with family on the farm. Do people actually use their call signs on the trail?

  3. Show me your front bumpers!!

I ended up buying a fab fours bumper. I like the look and I think the winch can be installed after the bumper installation.
  4. Show me your front bumpers!!

Can a winch be installed after installing the Arcus? I need a new bumper for my 37s, but I'm not sure if I want a winch yet. It all depends on my commitment to wheeling a $53,000 daily driver after my first few trips out.

Any comments on SAJE vs SAJC?

What size lift do you have? I have 2" and 37s with stock front bumper. Will I have issues?
  7. Manual Transmission Club

Reverse is entirely too tall. Other than that I like it. It shifts so smooth.
  8. Anyone have the Rugged Ridge HD Full Width Front Bumper?

Thank you for the pictures. Your tires look close to it. I'm not sure how 37s and a 2" lift will clear.
  9. Anyone have the Rugged Ridge HD Full Width Front Bumper?

There is a review on Amazon that says a 37" hit it and bent it. I have 37s and want to know if it works with them. Would also like to see pictures. This picture makes it look good, but I wouldn't mind other angles.
  10. GMRS Mount and antenna suggestion

I am going to start my install tomorrow. I am going to mount it to the front corner of the bed where the M8x1.25 insert is. It's still too close if a passenger is in the seat in front of it but short of installing on the bumpers it's tough to meet those guidelines. I will start a thread...
  11. GMRS Mount and antenna suggestion

I doubt many people worry about this given the infrequent nature of communications but according to my Midland manual the antenna needs to be at least 24 in from your body.

I haven't been wheeling in 13 years. Looking forward to it.

I joined. The dues you pay now will be good through 2021. They have a trip sometime around January 23rd. I will be installing a Midland gmrs radio this weekend and just got my 37s mounted today. Can't wait to wheel again but I'm going to take it easy seeing as how this thing cost so much money. :)
  15. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

I do have a tractor with pallet forks. I think I'll do that. :D
  16. Gladiators on Mopar 2" Lift Kit

I just had slightly used 37 12.50 Yokohamas mounted on +10 mm offset wheels. These are going to be for wheeling only. I'm going to run my 33s into the ground and get some skinny 35s for daily driving. I have a Mopar 2" lift and stock bumper. Are 37s going to hit the bumper or the rock...
  17. Front Axle U-Joints

Is the u-joint generally the first thing to break on a front axle?
  18. Auto Swap. Seriously

Reverse is absolutely too high. I stall backing an unloaded 16' steel trailer. If I need to back anything else I use 4L. Why do people need to go 20+ mph in reverse? If you need to go that fast, turn around. THe jeep needed a 4.XL V8, and Aisin has a transmission that handles more torque...
  19. Should I waste money on TPMS sensors for off roading tire set?

I bought almost new 37 12.50s and I'm going to get them mounted on 10mm offset wheels. Should I waste money with TPMS when I am only going to use this set for wheeling and like 1% of my road travel time maybe right before or right after a wheeling trip when I want to flaunt 37s?
