Can a winch be installed after installing the Arcus? I need a new bumper for my 37s, but I'm not sure if I want a winch yet. It all depends on my commitment to wheeling a $53,000 daily driver after my first few trips out.
There is a review on Amazon that says a 37" hit it and bent it. I have 37s and want to know if it works with them.
Would also like to see pictures. This picture makes it look good, but I wouldn't mind other angles.
I am going to start my install tomorrow. I am going to mount it to the front corner of the bed where the M8x1.25 insert is. It's still too close if a passenger is in the seat in front of it but short of installing on the bumpers it's tough to meet those guidelines. I will start a thread...
I doubt many people worry about this given the infrequent nature of communications but according to my Midland manual the antenna needs to be at least 24 in from your body.
I joined. The dues you pay now will be good through 2021. They have a trip sometime around January 23rd. I will be installing a Midland gmrs radio this weekend and just got my 37s mounted today. Can't wait to wheel again but I'm going to take it easy seeing as how this thing cost so much money. :)
I just had slightly used 37 12.50 Yokohamas mounted on +10 mm offset wheels. These are going to be for wheeling only. I'm going to run my 33s into the ground and get some skinny 35s for daily driving. I have a Mopar 2" lift and stock bumper.
Are 37s going to hit the bumper or the rock...
Reverse is absolutely too high. I stall backing an unloaded 16' steel trailer. If I need to back anything else I use 4L. Why do people need to go 20+ mph in reverse? If you need to go that fast, turn around.
THe jeep needed a 4.XL V8, and Aisin has a transmission that handles more torque...
I bought almost new 37 12.50s and I'm going to get them mounted on 10mm offset wheels. Should I waste money with TPMS when I am only going to use this set for wheeling and like 1% of my road travel time maybe right before or right after a wheeling trip when I want to flaunt 37s?
