1. Best: Real half doors from Jeep if they actually bring them back. What a disappointment not to have them.
2. Second best Bestop Core Doors probably once they come out.
I don’t like how the door handles don’t line up front/back with other options and that the doors are not thick and solid...
What about half doors? Why didn’t they ask about half doors? Come on. Too much talk about the engine. Half doors was such a critical part of the Jeep history and lifestyle, and now it’s completely gone and not a word about it. What gives?
Rendering of what it could look like:
I bet because they couldn’t sell you a manual off the lot, they encouraged you to order. That way they lock you in on a sale. Nothing to do with how soon you would get it either way. They don’t know.
I like the soft top and black fenders. I guessed NJ just from the picture... ha ha... me too. Anyways, is that the standard soft top or what they call the premium soft top? What’s the difference?
It actually looks interesting.
I like the side mirror setup
I like that doors can turn into tube doors (although I still like half doors better)
Tailgate looks exactly like the Wrangler
If the soft top can come down that would be neat
I wonder if those are the wheels it really comes with and...
That’s a shame. I also love driving a stick. I’m not ready to order a JT yet, but planning to in the future (if they ever come out with half doors... broken record). My JK Rubicon is a stick with 37” tires and I didn’t need to re-gear. Drives great on road and off road... rock crawling and all.
OK4WD did the lift on my first Jeep. They were the only shop I trusted for a long time to do any major work on my Jeep. Honest, extremely experienced, and a big shop. But they are very far for me, so now I go to No Excuses in New Egypt NJ any additional work on my Jeep. Guy specializes in...
I like all the reinforcements and heavier duty nature of this Mojave, but:
Because they will be produced in a smaller quantity and there are so many differences (backspacing, suspension) most likely all the aftermarket products for the other trims won’t work or make sense or manufacturers won’t...
I had only a soft top on my JK for 11 years in the northeast through cold weather and snow and it’s been great. The Jeep warms up and stays warm just as good. Snow never bothered it.
In fact it is easier to get the snow off the roof. While driving I hit the ceiling and the chunks of snow...
