Vendors... please build this... a bed frame like this black frame, but:
(1) Make the top high enough so it is well above the roofline of both the soft top and hard top, so that you can carry kayaks on top and bikes inside bed/under top. And,
(2) Bundle it with a special tonneau cover that...
I would get a Gladiator with a SOFT TOP, if it only came with half doors already!
I wish people new to jeeps could experience half doors and soft top... it’s such a difference... I’m sure many would convert. It’s all full doors and hard tops these days, which is fine, but not my thing.
To make it better:
Get rid of the holes and have it waterproof the bed so you can put things you don’t want to get wet under/in, and things that can get wet put over/on.
To make it even better:
Give it legs so the rack is in line with the roofline. That way you can put bigger things in the...
I absolutely love it. All along I’ve liked a white rubicon. These 35s on 18 with 2 inch lift looks really nice. Is it really only 2 inches of lift? I like the big gap between the tires and fenders. More than I expected with this setup.
I imagine if you get the Mopar 2” lift at dealer and get it installed there then you would need to get their choice or tires and stock rims. They would then calibrate the speedometer.
I wonder if dealers would be ok with you bringing in your own 37” tires? And if they CAN calibrate...
I was at the NYC Auto Show and noticed these openings that seem like they would allow rain to go in a bit.
I was also counting on this cover to allow me to use the bed as a large trunk year round through rain and snow. Not so sure now, but maybe it’s not so bad although wound be a hassle.
Anybody been at the NYC Auto show during a public day that can confirm if can go into Gladiators?
I never heard that they let you drive the track. I’ve been on it multiple years at the NYC Auto show and always you have to be a passenger.
I wonder how soon after the Gladiator is at dealerships, they will sell and install the 2” lift and 35” tires. I assume they will be able to calibrate the speedometer, of course.
I wonder if they will be able to and OK with calibrating it for 37” tires, but because of fear of liability...
