This is awesome. I almost feel like a real slim cover would fit here and keep it sealed up pretty well. Somebody should 3D print this and then sell it. Any takers?
I’m planning on getting a Vector JLE dock for mine along with the 67 designs arm/phone mount. But I also plan on having an iPad, sPod, Garmin inreach, my ham control head, and whatever gadgets my wife needs. Kinda just depends what you’re needing to run up there.
Awesome. I look forward to seeing what you guys do. I watched your pilot video the other night and subbed for the shenanigans. I like the idea of progressively larger tires/mods.
Thank you @ralphjjr, @boardthis74 and @theDECKEDguy for your responses. This forum is awesome with how helpful and excited about this stuff everybody is.
My plan definitely includes Decked and probably Leitner. I’ll probably still get the trail management package, but just maybe won’t use the...
Is this after landing the jump, or is it broken already? I think people are more curious how much abuse a JT on 37’s off road with stock axles will take. Maybe just me.
Another vote for Diono Radian. We have 3 in my wife’s minivan. We originally bought them because she was going to get a JLU, then baby number 3 came along and the JT was announced. We still love the seats though.
They’re good for 10 years (most seats are 5 year I believe?), convert from infant...
Thanks for the info. My big fear here is that my kids will press the button without me knowing, and the receptacle being full of water. I’m basically trying to decide whether to get the trail rail package or not. The bed rails plus the inverter makes it worthwhile for me, but I’m definitely...
If you use the pigtail, does the top of the Decked system keep water out of the factory outlet? My concern is that it would be constantly wet. You’d also want some sort of weatherproof plug for your pigtail.
@theDECKEDguy what kind of structural losses are we looking at if we pop a hole in the...
My plan is to attach something to just inside the tub, behind the door catch. I may end up using a nutsert or something because I don’t think there’s anything there to attach to.
In my Land Rover now, the kids tend to grab the door catch, which is usually covered in grease/dirt/etc. it’s about...
Quadratec sells specific kits to fit 7” lights, so that’s strange they would tell you they won’t work instead of pointing these out. There are others out there as well...
Yeah I saw that post as well. I did find one on Turo about 3 hours away. Trying to decide if it’s worth renting for a few days or not. I know I want the truck, but renting one would be nice to solidify the decision.
You attach a little rail to the tops of the bedsides. They sell them.
FrontRunner makes a great product. I have their rack and lots of their attachments on my Land Rover. I like it so much I’m planning to attach it to the top of a Leitner on my truck. It’s easy enough to take on and off that...
