They’ve already been mentioned but...
TrailRecon is fantastic for Jeep mods and overland specific travel. He recently got a JT so should be seeing more of it. Also his buddy Marco makes amazing food. My wife likes TR too since she’s into food videos.
OFFRD is our very own @WXman and does...
Not what you’re talking about, but this is kind of my thought for getting ac and heat to the pup when it’s really bad outside.

Either run it through the beer window or under the rear soft window or something...
I don’t mind it, but depending on what color I go with, I’ll probably get a color matched wrap for the dash pieces. Blue, for instance, might look a lot better in color match.
They’re pretty spendy, but probably cheaper than going custom with fiberglass.
There’s also Ursa Minor for the wrangler - maybe they’ll do something for the Gladiator eventually. There’s also a company in TX or OK that makes an extended JK with a big pop up tent. I can’t remember their name...
The extension is a little weird, but doesn’t bother me that much. I just know when I’m on 37’s, my kids aren’t going to be able to get in with some standard sliders.
This thread died a while back. I’m very interested in these but curious how long they’ll operate, and whether dirt/dust will give them a short life. Whether after a year or two they just don’t work any more. My other big concern is being out on a trip, getting covered in mud/sand/whatever, then...
Andre keeps alluding that the problems are fixed but isn't addressing it. Aren’t they on here somewhere that we could specifically request they address this?
Ezi-Awn, which I think is an Aussie based company, makes one. https://www.equipt1.com/products/jeep-gladiator-k9-roof-rack-kit
The expedition overland guys have one on their new Gladiator build.
I’ve tossed around going solar for a while now. I’d really like to, but I just don’t wanna give up that much flat space.
If you’re only running a fridge, at 0.87amp/hour draw (50qt ARB), it’s gonna take you a long time to draw down a 65+ AH battery.
No experience, but the overland kits come with relocation brackets for the front control arms at the frame. Supposedly makes it more compliant on the road, but maybe limits flex? (Guesstimating based on their descriptions online.)
@Pion I’ve heard nothing but good things about Roam, so it’s good to hear they are living up to the hype.
As far as I’ve been able to find, they’re the only ones who offer a 5’ long 270* awning (at least in the US). Unfortunately they’re out of stock and have been for a while, and I haven’t...
Thanks for the candid reply.
By the way, I really enjoyed your T33 Trail ride video. Please keep them coming! We’ve got a lack of good JT videos being pumped out. @WXman is holding it down for us right now.
@JcrOffroad I really like your racks, but my only complaint is there’s no way to mount a storage box that I’ve seen. The Leitner system is the only rack I’ve seen that has “pods.”
Any plans or ideas for something similar?
@Sgt Beavis - (LLOD) Last Line of Defense on YouTube is testing a new Skycamp meant for 5’ beds. It looks really nice. If I end up going that route in the future, that’s what I plan to get. Currently we really enjoy our Gazelle.
The Expedition Overland guys are running a rack on the drip rails. Not sure if there’s other structure to it or not but they’ve got a lot of gear up there.
Awesome, thank you so much.
I agree. I’m sure the guys at Decked would love to support all our desires, I just wonder what the impact on design and production would be.
Here’s to hoping! Otherwise, I bet a cover could be made to work with that space. Something with a thick rubber grommet...
