  1. Muffler Delete videos - crackle/pop + drone

I run a turndown pipe right beneath the drivers seat (where the rear exhaust section connects to the downpipes) so no resonators and no muffler. Dumping it there wasn't my first choice, but the cheapest and easiest. I get drone at 65-70 but that's about it. It was worse before i was able to get...
  2. FCA Reports Q3 2023 US Sales, Including Jeep Gladiator Sales

I had a GLI before this, same theme but less space!
  3. FCA Reports Q3 2023 US Sales, Including Jeep Gladiator Sales

This report just solidifies my plan of keeping the gladiator for the weekend and getting something small to drive for my commute thinking a m57 335i… time to start saving miles on the gladiator!
  4. MPG Steadily dropping….

Broke 20 in my 1.5 leveled rubicon.. then.. slowly but surely, dropped to about 18.5 on my 10 hour drive yesterday.
  5. Made an Uh-Oh... forgot to screw the drain plug back in after oil change

Got the extra half quart in, only difference that is measurable is the oil pressure now sits at 30 on idle as opposed 27 but I know that means nothing in the grand scheme of oiling the engine.
  6. Made an Uh-Oh... forgot to screw the drain plug back in after oil change

Good point. I’m sensitive to the issue after my 3.8 in my JK blew two short blocks, both covered under warranty since it ate oil) before I replaced it with a jasper engine.
  7. Made an Uh-Oh... forgot to screw the drain plug back in after oil change

Looked to be half a quart more or less. Oil pressure is 27 while idle, I’ll keep it chill till I can add the rest I need to.
  8. Made an Uh-Oh... forgot to screw the drain plug back in after oil change

Rookie mistake, did an oil change and forgot to screw the drain plug back in. Lost half a quart so I poured in 4.5. Think I’m good for the next 24 hours until I can get back to a store to get oil?
  9. Instant MPG disappeared from Fuel Economy screen on instrument cluster display.

Did a reboot as I just decided to run it as one of the upper gauges to keep track of it.
  10. Instant MPG disappeared from Fuel Economy screen on instrument cluster display.

Odd… mine also did the same and eventually came back but it’s been gone a good 2 weeks at this point, maybe longer.. I’ll unmarry the tazer today and see if I can get it back. Maybe a tazer reboot would bring it back?
  11. Are these for real?

The owners of HR own a few other brands as well, specifically Miromoto. They will always be biased towards the Super 7's.
  12. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Got out with the pup a little bit.
  13. Rubicon hood

Don’t forget if you swap from Rubi to Mojave you need to swap the cowls too.
  14. 2024 Jeep Gladiator debuts with new grille, interior, more options and upper trim levels

100%, I imagine they calculate max tow numbers by taking the actual max and taking 90% or 85% or something.
  15. 2024 Jeep Gladiator debuts with new grille, interior, more options and upper trim levels

It actually is only a 50 lb increase over a standard Max Tow Sport S, which came in at 7650. But, possibly the grille made that difference.
  16. 2024 Jeep Gladiator debuts with new grille, interior, more options and upper trim levels

The 4xe is an interesting prospect in the gladiator. It likely wouldn’t tow more due to the battery weight, and then where would that battery go? I think it’s likely we’ll see something by 2025 but why introduce a refresh of the gladiator for 2024, then another power train refresh for 2025? On...
  17. 2024 Jeep Gladiator debuts with new grille, interior, more options and upper trim levels

Unfortunately our towing capacity isn’t axle limited, it’s cooling limited. Even with the full float they can’t get around that we don’t have enough cooling power to tow more.
  18. The 2024 Gladiator Reveals on 9/13/23!

Looking at the vent placement, I’m gonna guess not adaptable without some minor modifications
  19. The 2024 Gladiator Reveals on 9/13/23!

Well… this turned out to be a true statement. Very underwhelming
  20. Potential New Commute

Agreed, we've got 3 B58's in the family between my wife and I and her family, 2 X3m40's and a m240i. The m240i is on MHD Stage 2+ and it rips. Makes the m340i a bit more tempting to get 4 doors out of the deal too. We'll see how the first few months goes of this commute then I'll report back...
