Has anyone on here thought about using Sumo Springs for the front and rear as opposed to the Clayton bump stops? I hear really good things about them curious how'd they perform in conjunction with the Clayton 2.5" Overland setup.
It was asked once but the OP didn’t answer… why in the heck would you go 4.88s with the Diesel??
I plan to regear my diesel as well when I jump from 35s to 37s but my research has shown 4.10 or MAYBE 4.56. Going 4.88 is extreme. That’s what people are doing on 37s with the gasser.
I have see...
Did anyone look at the light tan and think some of them almost had a pink hue to them? I hated how light it was and swore up/down there was a tinge of pink! I’d have to go up to the overland model to get the different brown or the grey.
@PunknJLBlackJT did your limited come with the Tech package?
Fantastic to hear. I have heard the same about the falcons but running the 3.3 version that are adjustable should help. Did you buy any other components other than the lift?
Yours absolutely will look great. The Sport doesn't have the Rubicon's Highline fenders so there isn't as much "gap"...
FINALLY!!! I have looked all over the FB gladiator pages and even posted as such asking. All you get is a bunch of folks posting 4" lifts with 38s when I ask lol. There is def some wheel gap in the front but I do not think that looks bad at all. I also have the diesel and a steel mid-width...
Dang, that's a bit disappointing to hear. Especially surrounding the 10" Uconnect. Our lease on our Explorer is already up and we did the 1 year free extension for obvious reasons. Currently auto climate sucks and our lease is dirt cheap. The Grand Cherokee L is at the top of our list with one...
But they were what looks like 33s right? I thought I could make out the Wildpeak A/T on it. I'm seriously considering the 2.5" Overland with my 35s so I'm trying to get an idea of what it will look like.
YUP. I'm not saying I don't agree that there could be improvements to the diesel black smoke problems but I really wish they worked with the auto industry more instead of against them. I have read so many times now that I'm sure it's true, the goal is to get auto companies here in the US to just...
MR Tuning is already doing a flash tune for the transmission so I would suspect GDE will do the same. And for those wondering... do I need the transmission tune? No you don't but you REALLY should. You don't see the full benefits without it. Some could argue it's 50% of the puzzle when tuning...
When has CARB or EPA ever done right by any of us!! Hey guys we can do a tune that is better for the environment and better for the conumser! EPA/CARB - No thank you stick with the stock crap, oh and here is a straw for your engine to breathe through. We thought the loss in efficiency would be...
If the tune is to be legal and EPA compliant (this tune will be) you can't have the EGR shut off. If you want the EGR off check out MR Tuning. Their tune is arguably just as good as the GDE and it has the added benefit of shutting off the EGR. The down side is you have to ship your ECU to Canada...
Are these the same truck/tires?? The bottom pick looks like it has less tire gap. Must be my mind playing tricks on me. Also if you’ve got the tires on do share the new pics and what size tires/rims you went with!
Yeah this ^^^ and I believe I read that the lack of 5 stars was because the gladiator/wrangler launched and right after the newer safety tests launched.
Anyone here running the AEV 2” spacer lift on a rubicon with 35” tires? Post up pics if so!
For ANYONE running it, does it really net 2” or is it like all the other lifts netting 1” or more.

I already posted pictures of that. Scroll back through the first few pages and you’ll see a side by side. Close enough that you generally wouldn’t know the difference as that was an objective of mine.
Too funny, I did the same exact thing as you minus the damage as well! Learned my lesson to fold the top forward before pulling in! My saving grace was probably the fact I was backing in.
