  1. To trade or not, what would you do.........

On a trade in, they treat a lease the same as owning or financing. Leasing a vehicle means you still own with a balance due. If I traded in a financed vehicle, they factor in the balance due on the vehicle as it applies to the trade in offer. I could have paid off the lease and traded it in...
  2. To trade or not, what would you do.........

I can speak from actual 1 week ago experience. My 2020 Max Tow lease was coming due in 3 to 4 weeks. I originally leased this Gladiator with the plan to turn it in after the 3 years. But after 3 years, with NO ISSUES, and having done a lot of the changes I wanted, I thought seriously about...
  3. Colorado Black Rubicon Hood and Grille

I'm not sure if you're interested in the Hood or Grille, or both. Nothing planned on heading East, but I do have the box for the Grille... I'm guessing it would be close to 80 to 90 dollars to ship the Grille.. Probably not worth the shipping cost... The Hood is impressive.... It gets a lot of...

  6. My Gecko Gladiator showed up today!

Fellow Coloradoan! I didn't get my JT at Johnson's, but I have bought a few Jeeps from them... Excellent service... Congrat's to you and your son! HOW AWESOME IS THAT as Dennis Collins would say...
  7. Missouri Trade Hardtops - My Black one for your White Hardtop

You might look into just painting your black top. Considering the size of the top for JT, it's most likely cheaper. After looking for a while for a painted top for my old JK, I painted the top and it was better than factory.
  8. Wrangler Has Priority Over Gladiator

Some of you might have noticed there are several You Tuber's/PODCASTERS making claims that Jeep might be discontinuing the Gladiator. They reference the latest Stellantis Press releases and Company updates talking about all the EV stuff coming out, including automatous driving Wranglers, and...
  9. We are driving around the world in our Jeep Gladiator we call DAUNTLESS

Sounds like an incredible adventure.... You have built an awesome Overland Gladiator, and you are still going on the build. Best of success!
  10. How do you recalibrate/adjust the speedometer?

Suggest you look into the Jscan app... It pretty much will do anything you want and it's priced right... I use the iPhone App, and picked up the security cables and OBS Adapter off Amazon.... Nothing stays connected to the Jeep. Set and disconnect.
  11. How do you recalibrate/adjust the speedometer?

I used the Jscan and it took a few tries to get it right.. I can't recall what it ended up at, but it was matched to the GPS and when I come across the road speed limit warning signs, it's always been dead on. I do know I used a size that was NOT the exact size of the tire.
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I did remove the bumper primarily to get to the hook bolts.. The bolts are 14mm X 1.75, so it takes some effort to remove and install the bolts. Plus I wanted to torque them down which required access for the Torque wrench. Taking the bumper off takes minutes. 4 bolts on the inside, 2 on each...
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I finally got around to adding the right side rear recovery hook. For others adding a second hook, a few call outs. I bought the right-side factory Part No.: 68355490AA BEZEL-REAR BUMPER. This Bezel has the cut out for the hook. Come to find out, the Bezel doesn’t fit the non Rubicon bumper...
  14. Installing Mopar Rear Bed Rock Rails on Overland and Sport Gladiators

There are no frame brackets to remove. The bolt holes are already in the frame and on the bracket. The frame brackets will bolt up with the 3 bolts. Once you hold the frame brackets in place, you'll see how they attach. Once the frame brackets are bolted on, the rails then bolt to the frame...
  15. Installing Mopar Rear Bed Rock Rails on Overland and Sport Gladiators

Here's a recap from the original post... The brackets that attach to the bumper end with the 2 bolts have to be removed and they are not used. The new brackets for the rails replace these brackets. The brackets and bolting up the rails is straight forward and easy. You need to take the time on...
  16. Carry a firearm while out in the woods? New to the Colorado area....

Just keep in mind, you can not CC in a State Park without a CC permit... Have fun!
  17. Hood graphic availability?

Gator_Dan You absolutely want to install it wet.. And don't be stingy on the water.. :) You will move it around quite a bit until it's where you want it. I was looking for the factory decal and came across the one from Pixeldecals, and they even made the decal in the color I wanted. Their...
  18. Colorado or Front Range Gladiator owners

Appreciate the feedback.. I think he lives up in the Mountains, since I have seen him headed up in the direction I go home. He turned off before me on a side road... I'm quite a bit further up the road.
  19. Any max tow owners regret not getting a rubicon?

Absolutely not.... I completed all the mid/harder trails in Moab without lockers...
