Is the App now working with the JL/JT?Will be using the obd jscan app. Along with theobd module you need an additional cable. Total cost like 60. Module, cable, vin purchase
I used the Jscan and it took a few tries to get it right.. I can't recall what it ended up at, but it was matched to the GPS and when I come across the road speed limit warning signs, it's always been dead on. I do know I used a size that was NOT the exact size of the tire.My speedometer is 2 mph slower than GPS at whatever tire size I use. I've gone up and down a hole inch, do I need to go more?
Same here. Speedo matches gps, the radar stations near the school show same as speedo.I used the Jscan and it took a few tries to get it right.. Are you using your phone for a GPS app? While connected to USB in the truck? For whatever reason, this will cause it to display the vehicle speed from the Jeep itself, instead of calculating from GPS.My speedometer is 2 mph slower than GPS at whatever tire size I use. I've gone up and down a hole inch, do I need to go more?
My dealer for the past 2 years explained that FCA makes them pay $100 for re-programming .. I USE Jscan App on the Iphone bought 3 vins and a $20 donegal for the OBD connection.I had an appointment to have my local dealer do it, but they said Chrysler was making them sign me up for a 2 month service plan for $125 before they could do the work. Smelled funny so I passed. Any truth to this?
Suggest you look into the Jscan app... It pretty much will do anything you want and it's priced right... I use the iPhone App, and picked up the security cables and OBS Adapter off Amazon....I had an appointment to have my local dealer do it, but they said Chrysler was making them sign me up for a 2 month service plan for $125 before they could do the work. Smelled funny so I passed. Any truth to this?
