  1. Holy hood scoops Batman

And that's why there are hundreds or different kinds of 4x4's. Peace.✌
  2. Please Introduce 392 Hemi Gladiator

And call it "Half Sack". :CWL:
  3. What has this forum cost you?

It's like the gas mileage. I. Don't. Want. To. Know.
  4. Let's talk fuel

The math is pretty simple and is the same math I used in the early 70's to convince my father to pay a nickel more for unleaded instead of gutting the catalytic converters so he could run regular gas. The average driver drives 15,000 per year. The stock Jeep obtains 19 MPG (YMMV). Using these...
  5. capability for trails with no lift

The App rates the trail difficulty. Anything 1-3 should be easily accomplished with a stock Gladiator.
  6. Holy hood scoops Batman

They are there to attach limb risers. Where Jeep has a small bracket attached to the hood latches, Ford has these 6" fins. A bit overplayed, don't you think?
  7. Do you even wheel ?

And there are JK and JL owners who don't consider the JT a "real" Jeep.
  8. Do you even wheel ?

I wheel. Forest roads, national parks, dirt, sand and gravel. AEP Power areas. Up some pretty steep hills, too. Perfectly stock suspension and tires. Mods are for comfort and looks. Washed once a week. Looks equally in place in a mall or on a farm. What I don't do is bad mouth Jeep owners...
  9. Ohio WTB DSL/Turn Signal Mounting Bracket

Passenger side. This is a thick black plastic (fiberglass?) bracket that attaches to the fender flair and is used to mount the fender lights. Jeep dealer says it is not available separately and I have to buy the whole flare! The piece is marked "DRL MTNG BRKT" , "SBS RH" and a part number...
  10. Inexpensive Top Hoist

    Pardon my voice...
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

When I replaced my bumper, I found the OEM removal to be quite easy. Note: the 16MM socket needs to be a deep well. https://www.addictivedesertdesigns.com/files/install/ADD-2020-Current-Jeep-Gladiator-Stealth-Fighter-Rear-Bumper-Installation-Instructions.pdf
  12. My Gladiator is the most polarizing vehicle I’ve ever owned.

I love the Subaru Brat/Baja look. I'm not convinced that the Maverick will be any better than it's namesake ('72 Mav was the Worst POS I ever owned). The Hyundai is a modified Santa Fe. I looked at the Santa Cruz and dealers are asking MSRP plus a $2500 "Vehicle Shortage" fee. I've been...
  13. My Gladiator is the most polarizing vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Different strokes. Ford managed to sell a ton of crew cabs built that way. The Taco, too. Have you seen the new Hyundai Santa Cruz? It has a Subaru Brat sized bed.
  14. IDEA THREAD: Mods on a tight budget

She came with a guarantee. I guarantee that she's thinking, what's yours is hers and what's hers is hers too.
  15. My Gladiator is the most polarizing vehicle I’ve ever owned.

I would have thought so too, but the only ones sold in the 90's were Comanches. The 80's had the Scrambler, but they only sold a few thousand. All I can think is that it's trendy to bag on Gladiators.
  16. IDEA THREAD: Mods on a tight budget

No, I have not. I did a "test run" by wenching myself into the yard, anchored to a tree. It's slow, but easy. If you contact them, ask if they have any "seconds". Any second issue is cosmetic only and the wench carries the same warranty as 1st quality, but saves you a lot of money.
