As it gets hot outside, start/stop will be intermittent; if you have A/C on full.
In summer, mine rarely kicks in, the whole 100+ thing has me running a/c on max.
I had a wire routed next to a bolt near the def fill area along the frame. It rubbed through and threw a code.
Easy fix.
Start stop battery failure. (This isn’t unique to diesels, happens to gassers)
Otherwise, nothing.
I’m just about to hit 20k miles. I think I’m around 19,8xx.
I’ve been in...
If you want to go for a ride in a diesel on 35s, hollar at me. I’m up in Carrollton.
No real issues. Any I e had were taken care of easily by Huffines Jeep in Plano. Their service department has dedicated folks for diesels.
Naw, y’all are rookies.
Contra was up, up, down, down, left, right, left , right, B, A, start.
For me, since I had friends, it was “…A, Select, Start”. This was for a 2-player.
;)
Yeah, I didn’t think I’d ever own just any midsize truck. It was either a JLU, JT, or a dodge.
JT was best of...
Okay, that is some crazy voodoo black magic!
I believe you. Technology is mind blowing.
Question: can the jscan or the Mx+ thingy pull this information?
The Jeep doesn’t know the weight and won’t go limp based on the number of pounds.
It could go limp due to clutch over temp issues I believe or any other number of over temp type items, oil, coolant, engine, etc.
Can the truck take it in and of itself? Probably. Can your clutch take it? Maybe...
Technically, both.
Never noticed it Offroad. On-road, seemed noticeable in clover leaf exit/on-ramps.
Enough to buy separate if not included in a kit when I may already have an adjustable trackbar? Probably not.
You don’t have to apply them. It helps, I’ve found, to start the ball rolling.
tried it once. It worked, but not nearly as fluid as lockers. I haven’t tried it again, I’d rather use my lockers and finesse an obstacle where possible.
Are both tires the same load rating?
C vs D vs E makes a difference.
You can air a D/E down lower than a C and have the same “squish”.
At some point they will equal each other ground clearance-wise. The larger tire will have quite a bit more traction.
At 45k miles the shocks coild be nearing end of life?
I didn’t have any issues on twisty roads in CO last summer and zero issues on our farm roads here in TX that get very twisty.
Would love to!
My in-laws had a house due East of ridgeway, over owl creek pass. Sadly, they sold it about 3 years ago, otherwise, it was our summer vacation last 20+ years.
we still go to CO, but have to pay for lodging and food now. Lol
I’m on 35s. Will go 37s when these wear out. The steering feels the same as pre-lift. A bit less responsive with the larger tires.
My wife is picky and has hated how other lifted Jeeps have driven. This one she likes.
this pic is pretty much unloaded. Bike weights 200lbs.
