With my reverse clunk and the 3-4 funky shift I am just going to drive it . I would change the fluid if it would make a difference. The dealer says there is nothing wrong with it,,, lol.
I have done so much to my JT that I really can't part with it. The 3.6 is the real spot. With my 125 pound Bernese, a JL just won't fit everything . The Idaho BDR is calling me.
Well, right now I have the Mopar 2 inch arms on the lower front that gave me 6.1 deg caster, laser measured. Then I installed the JKS geo brackets and my jeep alignment guy said I will probably have 7-8 deg and that will be ok. I guess I could just get it measured again but it does drive great...
I like the Synergy adjustment system they use. Fine adjustments without removing the bar. Very strong and secure. Aluminum is OK but it will grab the rocks more than slide over them. Hardened chromeoly steel is much stronger than just steel.
I spoke with Dave at Synergy about the aluminum tie rods. His are 1/4 thick hardened chrome Molly and you are not going to bend or dent it. The Aluminum ones can cause the tie rod ends to snap.
I put the moper arms on with my Moper lift and got 6 deg caster. Then I added JKS geo brackets and now I probably have 7-8 deg caster and it's even better on the freeway. No front DS issues,,, yet.
What I have is in my signature. I highly recommend it as many of my friends say it rides better than their 1/2 ton. It's not really a kit but every part was thought out before purchase.
I got my Methods and 315s as soon as I could . then upped them to 37s. Sold the factory wheels for 140$. Then gave the 285s to a friend along with the 315s. My friends are waiting for me to do 40s.I have given away springs, shocks, and lots of other stuff. I must admit that the BFG KOs in 37 are...
