  1. AUX battery delete and using Antigravity Brand Battery

It looks like I need batteries but not going to spend the $$$ for LIPOs just for fun when a good Odyssey battery will work for years. My only question is do I keep the ESS battery in place with a new one?
  2. ESS warning light with a ! after it

Started today sounded a little odd. Looked and I have a ESS warning light with a ! after it . Both batteries are original so 3 years 4 months. Full time with the ESS off with the Tazer. So tonight I have the charger on them. The Jeep sat for 4 days before this. Are these batteries done? Should...

  6. Transfer case Nightmare

Is that what you used for oil? I do believe that ATF+4 is what it calls for.
  7. Possibly trading my 2020 JTR 3.6 for a 2021 JTRD

I have a 14 Ram 2500 4x4 diesel so I know what's up. I have been thinking about trading my'22 JTR and getting the JTRD. Then swap much of my mods to it. What will swap. Tires and wheels, ARE camper, Front bumper and winch, Rock rails, What won't , suspension, gears, Just wondering...
  8. 3.6 Engine - Now I understand the power issue

Putting in 4.88s is the best mod I ever did.

  10. Thoughts coming from a full size pickup to a Gladiator?

I like my Gladiator but it could never replace my Ram 2500 4x4 diesel. I have even thought about just using it for over landing and ditch the JT. It's better in so many ways. But not as good for real 4x4 trails. It has a full Thuren soft ride suspension .
  11. 3.6 Engine - Now I understand the power issue

My 3.6 really came alive when I put in the 4.88s. Getting 15+ with the 37s.
  12. Tazer Mini

I have had it with the Tazer BS. A dealer visit for a trans issue is a real PITA.
  13. Noticeable Clunk When Putting Jeep into Drive or Reverse and Occasionally While Driving

When you un marry the Tazer it automatically puts the original settings back in from the factory. It's a bit of a PITA and I am thinking about going with a different device.
  14. Anyone else use this ATF in their Gladiator 8-speed?

I have seen my trans temp go 220+ and stay there many times. Could that be part of my trans issues? I don't tow.
  15. Noticeable Clunk When Putting Jeep into Drive or Reverse and Occasionally While Driving

So when/ if the trans fails and I do get it to the dealer. Then I un marry the taser and all settings go to factory. The dealer does a diagnostic a then a test drive. The tires and 4.88s throw a light show on the dash. Then they replace the trans,,, LOL. Then they re flash for the new trans and...
  16. Anyone else use this ATF in their Gladiator 8-speed?

With the cold hard reverse clunk and the hard 3-4 shift the truth is that my trans has failed but still works. FCAis not going to fix it till it does not move the JT. Some say it will never fail. I will just keep driving it till something changes. Maybe my first cold reverse will be at 2500RPM...
  17. Noticeable Clunk When Putting Jeep into Drive or Reverse and Occasionally While Driving

My dealer wants to see broken parts or a failure of some type before they do a warranty replace. But first void the warranty due to my mods. I will probably end up looking for a lightly used one .
  18. Anyone else use this ATF in their Gladiator 8-speed?

Well here we go again with the ATF change with hopes of fixing the clunk. I'll order a pan and filter set with ZF 8-9 speed fluid. I will wait for a word to do it. With all my mods There is a good chance my warranty is toast anyway. My dealer service guy said they will warranty it if it ever...
