Thanks for the additional info. I think I'd have to see how they did their air flow test. It seems hard to believe that you can reduce the grill opening by about 1/3 and not affect how much air comes in. Maybe up that high it is not blocking any of the radiators/coolers.
That is interesting. I'll have to search the net to see if I can find pics of the jumper cables plugged into that. Did you have a pic of the inside of the trail doors?
Thanks, I could not remember who made them. They are called the M715 conversion. I don't see how one could be made without new side fenders. The current grill slopes back a little and for the Kaiser front end it would need to slope forward. It is a really cool look and what Jeep should have...
I'm also liking the tie down cleats you have on the outside of the bed rails. Those could allow people to lash down a canvas cover if they wanted to (not my thing, but a good option).
Is the ladder on the overland rack movable, or does it have to be mounted in that spot above the fender? A...
I thought of a couple of slight adjustments to the sports bar that would give it quite a bit more functionality.
1. Extend your chase light mount out to the edges on both sides. This would allow us to mount lights that face to the side of the truck without throwing huge shadows from the bars...
The best looking racks out there so far. Good stuff. I was not crazy about the full height overland style rack when I first saw it, but it is growing on me quickly. My current plans don't require a rack of that type, but if I did, this would be one of my top choices.
The sports bar does...
I'm liking the side steps as well. That might be my favorite front bump so far, but they need to put some Hi-Lift jacking holes in it. I've never understood why so many bumpers don't have these... they are almost all very angular which makes it hard to use that type of jack on them.
Anyone...
I don't mind the lights that are functional, hell, I've got 8 extra lights on my Jeep. Two down on my bumper, two on the A pillars, and four on my roof rack. All are pointed to give good coverage when running trails at night (I do this pretty often doing night photography) and the rack mount...
