Thanks for the perspective. I guess that I made the right choice then with Falcon. I am on road with a once a month rock crawl at Rausch Creek. No desert and high speed off road in the mid Atlantic. All off roading is 5mph max.
I am making some changes to my setup and am thinking about swapping out my 2.5" EVO coils for 4.5" coils. Would likely just buy the simplest 4.5" stage 1 setup and re-use the rest of the 2.5" kit parts as they are all the same. My question is does anyone have the 4.5" coils with 37s? What is...
I am currently running the EVO 2.5" lift (and have 3/4" Daystar spacers on top of the coils) with 37" tires. The setup works well but I would like to increase my flex with taller coils and thinking about moving to the 4.5" lift. Mine is actually a stage 3 but would look to swap out just the...
You should be fine towing that weight TT. I am towing a 5,200 lb dry TT without issue and I am lifted on 37s. I did regear to 4.88s to help with the taller tires. While it won't tow up hills like a 2500 truck it does just fine.
Anyone running the Falcon SP2 3.3 3.5"=4.5" shocks on the stock front driveshaft? Have you had any issues wheeling? It seems to be a mixed opinion on the need but I do wheel my JT about once a month and am running a 3.5" lift and will be adding the Falcon shocks this weekend. Currently...
Ok so I ordered the Falcon SP2 3.3s. They are adjustable and I cant wait to install them. Will update and provide feedback shortly. Thanks for the help and feedback.
Well I think one direction of the issue (the dash lights and alarms in Jeep alerting when you touch the button) is the TSB but the issue with the lights on the controller knob seems to be the other direction and isn't resolved with the one way diode. It seems to be an issue with the Kurt...
I have a 4” lift with 37s (but same 12.5 width as 35s) and I need washers. My issue is due to stock rims. Aftermarket would resolve or wheel spacers would resolve. But easier is to add steering washers. 5 minute install and I don’t notice any difference in turn radius.
I have searched threads and see a few on the shock topic but no real clarity on adjustable vs fixed shocks. I am running a 2.5" EVO stage 3 lift and am using the stock fox shocks with extension adapters. I am looking to move into better fit shocks and want to get a high quality shock. I think...
That is how mine started. The red light would seem to get stuck and goes away when I hit the brakes again. It has progressed to many other colors and much more frequent. I just got off the phone with Curt support and learned that eTrailer is selling the wrong adapter. They are selling the...
I continue to have the same issues and Curt doesn't seem willing to resolve it. I guess I will give in soon and order the stock Mopar controller before camping season starts this year. I am concerned that there is some issue when the knob lights up and sticks. Also concerned as it is now more...
If it’s minor rub just put a washer or two in the steering stop. I am running 37s on stock wheels and used 2 washers on the steering stops and no more rub. You shouldn’t need wheel spacers.
I had 35s on stock wheels before the 37s and they didn’t rub.
Just posted this same ask in another thread but figured I would ask the same question in this one:
I am struggling with shocks for my EVO 2.5” stage 3 kit. I have had the lift installed and using shock extension brackets with the stock fox shocks. It works but I want proper length shocks. I am...
I am struggling with shocks for my EVO 2.5” stage 3 kit. I have had the lift installed and using shock extension brackets with the stock fox shocks. It works but I want proper length shocks. I am stuck between the EVO tuned Kings and Falcon 3.3s. Are the EVO tuned Kings adjustable? It doesn’t...
Selling a full set of Rubicon Fox shocks with 30k miles on them and including front and rear EVO shock extension brackets. I used these with my EVO 2.5" lift for the past 20k miles. They worked great but I decided to go a bit taller and really want the King shocks. Anyone looking to do a lift...
