  1. It can be done! (Alpine premium sub upgrade)

Short answer, yes. The LC2i, is a compact, two-channel processor with active input circuitry, which allows it to accept speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. It converts them to high-quality pre-amp signals that can then be...
  2. It can be done! (Alpine premium sub upgrade)

That is 100% correct, it will sound terrible. That is of course if you’re using a Walmart LOC or something similar. If you use a good LOC like the Audiocontrol LC2i or something similar you’ll be fine. I promise you mine sounds pleasant lol
  3. What would you do: Keep it and build or Trade it in...?

I would keep looking for the diesel Mojave. Let me know if you find one. In the meantime, build whatever you want, you already have a JT, why buy another one?
  4. Rusty’s Off-Road

My front diesel springs from Rusty’s are sagging like crazy at about the 50k mark. Reached out to them via email about 4 months ago, provided pictures. Still waiting to hear back.
  5. 2026 Jeep JT Hybrid

My local dealership has 30 gas wranglers and only 7 4xE. Three of those seven have been on the lot for some time now. I don’t see the 4xE nearly as often as the gas versions. Generally, people bought the electric versions here because of the big tax breaks, so there are a bunch of Saharas on 20s...
  6. Adding a XJ 1987 4.0 Limited with LPG +spares and getting rid of a 2005 GC Overland 3.0 CRD?

I’m not going to be of much help, I am fairly biased here. I do drive a diesel gladiator though, and would not trade it for a gas model.
  7. Tire imbalance or death wobble?

Ironically mine does this same thing every time I rotate my tires and re grease my MC HD front end. It’ll shimmy at 55mph for the first few hundred miles, then it goes away.
  8. New gladiator diesel owner- suggestions for budget oriented overland build

My wife lost her front DS before her registration came in the mail, so… šŸ˜†
  9. New gladiator diesel owner- suggestions for budget oriented overland build

Falcon SP2.1 for 3.5ā€ lift… that’s my saving grace for my driveshaft, plus the fact that I’ve never disconnected.
  10. New gladiator diesel owner- suggestions for budget oriented overland build

I would totally go 4.5ā€ if it wasn’t any higher than that. I’m on Rusty’s 4ā€ with a Teraflex half inch spacer on top for 4.5ā€ total. I’m pushing my luck on stock driveshaft though, but I couldn’t see going down in height.
  11. Ebay "OEM Steel Bumper" vs Rugged Ridge Spartacus Bumper

If you get the knockoff bumper the FIRST thing you should do is have it stripped and powder coated. It will rust if you don’t.
  12. New gladiator diesel owner- suggestions for budget oriented overland build

I’m still looking for 4ā€ front springs that will last. Plenty of companies out there sell lifetime guarantees for their gas springs, then have 50k mile warranty for diesel springs. So far Mopar springs have failed, and Rusty’s diesel springs have failed. That being said, I haven’t heard anything...
  13. Utah Top Trade, looking for a Hard Top

I just don’t know that the black one would bring as much value as the painted one. I know I’m limited to a smaller crowd, but it’s really just a 1 for 1 trade for a camper shell that’s local to me so it’s all or nothing lol
  14. Utah Top Trade, looking for a Hard Top

Totally understandable, we wouldn’t want you driving around being mistaken for a fire truck šŸš’ lol
  15. Washington WTB/WTT - White Hardtop

Why is everyone too damn far away from me? šŸ˜‚ As soon as my broken soft top brackets arrive I’ll be selling my white hard top. Not sure what your idea of a reasonable price is, I’m trying to get 2k so I can get my camper shell. Then there’s that whole living 1132 miles away part šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
  16. Utah Top Trade, looking for a Hard Top

Hope you find what you’re looking for. I’m in Southern California and just about to put my white hard top with headliner up for 2k as soon as my broken soft top brackets arrive šŸ‘šŸ»
  17. 2020 Mojave speakers quit working after attempting aftermarket sub and amp install

Indeed I did, wasn’t the first time and won’t be the last. I can understand the concern with electrical setups, but speaker wires are what, 18 gauge from the factory, and not necessarily drawing a ton of current there either. It’s just borrowing a signal, not powering the 2700w amp. For that I...
  18. 2020 Mojave speakers quit working after attempting aftermarket sub and amp install

I don’t think that’s the issue here. If that were the case, the radio would only shut down the channels affected by the issue. Meaning he would still have dash speakers and sub output. If you try playing your radio and disconnect any speaker, then try and reconnect it, you will not get sound out...
  19. Traded my gladiator

Just get both, no harm no foul. They both do the same thing in Moab, one just does it easier (spoiler alert, it ain’t the Wrangler).
