  1. Gladiator is Tops in 2023 Initial Quality Study for Midsize Trucks (JD Power)

I love my Gladiator and wouldn’t rather have anything else but it has not been a trouble free relationship for me. Thankfully all my issues have been relatively minor so far starting with a ā€˜service fwd’ light at purchase (bad ground wire), leaking right rear axle seal, issue with the tpms...
  2. Bestop SunScreen: JL / JT Sunshade for Sunrider for Hardtop released!

Even if it was just the same thing (only for the front seats) but adapted to work with the oem soft top, I would be interested. IMO the ability to quickly open/close a shade from the drivers seat offers more functionality/value for the full soft top anyway since you have no other way to safely...
  3. Official EcoDiesel Oil and Filter Recommendations

Agreed, I usually stick around 65 as well when towing. Engine feels like it is hardly working and everything easier to control at that speed. Not to mention higher mpg and lower Def usage when not pushing the engine so hard.
  4. Official EcoDiesel Oil and Filter Recommendations

In the flats not towing mine always runs in the 215 degree oil temp range. Towing my 4,500lb camper it depends on how fast I’m going. If I’m trying to run in the 70-75mph range I see oil temps in the mid 240s, staying around 65mph (which I usually do) oil temps stay in the mid 230s. Obviously...
  5. Gladiator Mojave vs Rivian R1T (Photo Comparison)

Can you easily remove the roof and doors? How about aftermarket customization options? I don’t hate the looks and I’m sure it is smooth to drive and packed with the latest tech, but for the reasons above and multiple others it isn’t comparable to the JT IMO.
  6. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

Sorry, I use iPhones (work or personal) to connect with the OBD2 adapter. My iphone can be connected to OBD2 and still receive calls through the vehicle audio via Bluetooth. I would assume most modern phones are capable of simultaneous Bluetooth connections with other devices; think Bluetooth...
  7. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

The question wasn’t for me but I have no connection issues whatsoever with the adapter I use. Connects quick and is almost in lockstep with oem gauges for the same data points. Nice thing about the Bluetooth route is flexibility, there when I want to use it and easy to put away if not.
  8. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

Sure, it’s simple to go drive another 15 minutes after you get that message. Problem is you don’t know how many times you’ve stopped the process from completing when there is fuel and 1,200 degree combustion gases cycling through your aftertreatment system. The message isn’t proactive, it is a...
  9. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

I use the OBDLink MX+ and Car Scanner Pro with iOS for my solution but I believe both work with android as well. The OBD tool is much more expensive now than when I bought it but you can use it with JSCAN or Alpha OBD as well to adjust tire size, add LED lights, etc. So it has some versatility...
  10. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

Correct, there are no indicators built into the OEM display to indicate when or what type of regens are occurring. All of it is happening behind the scenes based on variables none of us know for certain. Not sure why they designed it this way, but IMO definitely not ideal for the operator not to...
  11. Take me to "REGENERATION " School...Please !

You will get that notice after multiple aborted, i.e. not fully completed, active regenerations. The active regen entails fuel getting injected into the aftertreatment process to more rapidly burn out the collected soot matter. In my experience this happens when you hit 85% on DPF saturation or...
  12. Teraflex 1.5 Leveling Kit Questions

Having the toe set to ~26 degrees total has mostly eliminated the issue, tends to track even more straight now as well. Overall happy with the value, look, and feel now that it is aligned properly. Lesson learned, slight toe-in (25-30degrees total) with this set up is the way to go:like:
  13. Teraflex 1.5 Leveling Kit Questions

@Mac & @ShadowsPapa Thanks for your feedback. I’m also inclined to think the minor amount of extra caster added isn’t the problem given how low it is from the factory and multiple others who have done this exact same setup with no issues. I am going to try having the toe set to ~26 degrees...
  14. Teraflex 1.5 Leveling Kit Questions

Installed this combo, TF 1.5 spacer and Mopar LCA for 2in lift, and following install had a bit of a pull to the right/passenger side. Rather than messing with the toe myself I found a coupon for Belle Tire $64 for 1yr unlimited alignments. They set toe at the values in the lower half of picture...
  15. Temp Monitoring Ready! Come Download what you need!

Odd, even changing the pressure units doesn’t have any impact for me. Also, your latest version only shows up with a white background regardless of the display setting I choose. I will try reinstalling both app and dashboard to see if it helps. Thanks for the response.
  16. Temp Monitoring Ready! Come Download what you need!

Any way we can get a version that shows boost in psi not bar? Would show more movement and make the boost gauge more meaningful. Thanks in advance
  17. Exhaust note when uncorked.

Sounds great? Any quirky engine behavior after the tune or all still smooth but more power on tap?
  18. What is your lowest MPG with the Diesel?

Not surprised if you are 95% city with larger than stock tires. Especially if the city mileage is of the stop and go variety. My overall average (~18k fuelly tracked miles) is right at 23mpg with around a 60/40 highway to city mix, however I have done a decent amount of towing as well to bring...
  19. Trac–Lok® Anti–Spin Rear Differential Question

Have the rear limited slip differential (LSD) on my Sport S EcoDiesel. Even with the electronic stability control (ESC) turned off and lead foot delivering over 400ft lbs + of torque it keeps the rear wheels well planted in most scenarios. The off-roading I have done so far is pretty tame, but...
  20. Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

Hilarious, didn’t see any recent posts here claiming to be using fuel efficiency savings to recoup an ā€œinvestmentā€. Maybe next time get a little more creative with your trolling.
