Welp our Trailhawk 4xe has been in the shop 15 days, by the time they can work on it again will be day #21. Racing towards a lemon law at this rate. Something is wrong with cylinder 3 at high load, misfires.
Meanwhile our local rental place happened to have 6 4xe Wranglers dropped off last...
Where are you going with the windshield down where you'd need adaptive cruise control and forward collision? You heading down the highway with no windshield?
I mean I guess other things to do include put on eye protection and keep your mouth closed.
Payload will surely be decreased. That and towing is a big issue for the JT version.
Some of that is the byproduct of the size of battery they could stash inside the vehicle.
Oh yeah the torque and driving is great in hybrid mode. Don't get me atl all wrong it's awesome.
But I have zero belief it will hold up in the truck especially when people lift and put larger tires on.
I bet it'll be 20 real world miles of electric battery and then it's churning gas to...
Seriously overdue edit. After a few days the CEL was flashing multiple times and on steady. Dealer did extensive testing and the final result is cylinder 3, at least just that cylinder, is blown and needs a new engine. The car had about 300 miles on it when the first flashing CEL happened...
We just picked up a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe. Awesome fantastic ride.
0% ever taking this drivetrain in the Gladiator. Happy with it in the JGC. Would never consider in the Gladiator.
