  1. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

You don’t need to enable the Paddle Shift CSM with JScan or whatever other tool you used. The menu item is unnecessary and non-functional on our trucks.
  2. MOJAVE Edition Gladiator JT Club

There’s a Gator Mojave for sale at a VW dealer in Boise right now.
  3. Diesel cooling options and ideas

The export (non-US) diesel uses the Mojave/392 hood and cowls. That's why you're seeing diesel listed on some of those parts. The Mojave/392/export diesel cowl comes several inches higher up to the windshield than the other models. Everything else is the same, except for the 4xe that has a...
  4. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

Amsoil's ATL documentation says Amsoil's OTL documentation says Emphasis is mine. It does not say that their fluid meets the specifications, simply "use" or "recommended". In fact, it's impossible for it to meet the specifications for all of those different fluids, as those fluids are not...
  5. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

Magnuson-Moss is useless here, as it's not the brand that's the issue, it's that the fluid doesn't meet the requirements. You still have to meet the manufacturers requirements, or as mentioned before you could pour peanut oil in there and still be covered.
  6. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

It’s good it’s working for you, just know that it doesn’t meet the written requirements.
  7. Does anyone know if a top like this is available?

It’s the hardtop with the rear window removed and fabric stretched over it.
  8. Reducing length of Gladiator to fit in garage

Seeing this reminds me of how annoyed I am that my new-build house with a 3 car garage and 11' garage ceilings has 7' doors.
  9. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

What he said ?? If it doesn't meet the manufactures specific stated certification then it's iffy using it. Stellantis and all ather vehicle OEMs publish their certification requirements and lubricant manufacturers have to pay a licensing and test fee to be certified. Some, like AMSOil, choose...

Jeep won't fit? Time to move!
  11. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

You don't have to use Mopar oil, but you do need to use oil that meets what the manual says. The manual in the case of oil says and
  12. FCA Canada voids transmission warranty for using AMSOIL.

In the end that's really the important takeaway from all the fluid talk: If the manufacturer says "You have transmission '1234', use fluid marked as certified to spec 'ABCD'", then make sure the fluid you use says certified to spec "ABCD", not just "for use in transmission "1234". I'm glad...
  13. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Well that’s not positive either. Mine definitely makes the most noise at and just off idle. I guess I need to get out where I can rev it up and listen a bit. The last couple weeks have mostly been dragging a trailer around at under 20 mph, so not much opportunities for high RPM there.
  14. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Can anyone who has a verified case of the wrong lifters and eaten cam verify this sounds the same?
  15. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

It works as you’d expect, the gear shows up.
  16. Diesel cooling options and ideas

The engineers involved in designing the JT have said that frontal area (“packaging”) was the biggest problem. Look how much taller the radiator on that Ram is, and it goes below the grille, getting air from the openings in the bumper, whereas the JT doesn’t have any openings in the bumper.
  17. 392 Steering Wheel Retrofit

I don’t believe anyone has figured out how to do that so far. Most of us are leaning towards it being something the software in our clusters just doesn’t support.
  18. Diesel cooling options and ideas

It definitely looses some “Jeep-ness”, but it’s not nearly as bad looking as any aftermarket grille you can buy right now.
  19. Diesel cooling options and ideas

Funny, I was just typing out that very suggestion when it popped up that there was a new post. That should help, but you really need more radiator surface to make much of an impact.
  20. The good and the bad of a roots supercharger.

Well, I’m a bit concerned mine may be on its way. It’s got a nasty “diesel rattle” at idle and low RPM under load. Video attached.
