Is that implying that us millennials somehow don’t have “fuel mileage”, or that we don’t care?
Man, at $5.30 a gallon I’m driving like Mrs. Daisy is in the back.
Sure is tough. Mine hasn’t looked that shiny in nearly a year.
I really need to find a good local detailer. I used to show cars so I know how to do it, but I just don’t have the time anymore, and my water at this house is so hard.
Millennials are nearly 30 to just over 40. I think you mean “the youth”. There are many people of all ages who have never driven stick. I’d wager that the majority of drivers under 60 have never driven a manual.
I agree with you on the valet thing though.
My last several tanks have been about 12 MPG, but I don’t commute, so the Jeep gets used mostly for towing or off-roading. Everything else is driving my MTB across town to the trailheads, so continuous stoplights.
I’ve had highway tanks as high as 22 though.
I have no comments on the sunrider, but the rubber corner protectors in the pocket of the freedom top bag are for the lower front corners of the hard top (what would be next to the rear seat passenger’s shoulders).
No denying the cooling angle. The Ram HDs have truly massive grilles, radiators, and fans. That’s why that truck was rated for towing 18k pounds, and that’s in the most optioned out lux model you could get. Try to push the same pounds per HP like that with a Gladiator and it’ll cook in no time.
These aren't "the best" tow vehicles, but they really aren't bad.
When you include the weight of the tow vehicle, my JT towing at it's limit (6000#) is only 1 pound per HP behind my previous 2020 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi pulling a 30' long 9000# Airstream. They even have the exact same...
You’ve got it right there. As hard as all of the gears and miscellaneous mechanical parts are, they all have some flex and give. Pulling hard under a heavy load changes the shape of those parts slightly and the points where they contact.
The key on the 7 pin is directly above the 12v connector, so any attempt to insert it upside down would result in that pin being unable to reach any pins on the socket side. This is by design.
The shell usually melts, but I’ve had plenty of wires lose insulation from that too. With a high...
Unless you file a chunk of the connector off there's no way you're getting any terminals to contact on a 7 way inserted upside down. Even if you did manage to get something to contact, it would only be the ground and trailer brake pins on the trailer side to the 12v and tail pins respectively on...
