  1. Need some input on my current set…

Hey there! I went through a lot of work understanding flex in the JT. Sharing some of what I learned/found here I hope it helps you or someone here. TL;DR: Your issue likely one or combination of: too much spacer installed, shocks don't have the longest extension, rear swaybar/stock components...
  2. Teraflex Long Arms, Who's Interested?

Looking through the instructions for the JL/JLU kit looks like a bit of work to grind off and cut some bits to get this long arm brackets installed. Definitely not going back to short arms after install of long arms. Its bolt on, as advertised, but in a non-reversable sense LOL. With the sport...
  3. 1” Terra Flex w/o bump stop spacer on EcoD

If anybody requires extra of the bump stops or spacers of any kind let me know. I ended up receiving a whole lotta extras I did not need when trying to put my ST4 together piecemeal. They charge quite a premium for them I can hook you up.

Falcon sp2 3.5 eAdapts are installed. The wiring needs to be run and connected. they are massive and look cool too lol. I almost swear the Chadiator sits slightly higher, like 1/4” or so, on these as opposed to the Fox. The mode selector switch fits seamlessly into the A-pillar and I am starting...
  5. First mods?

Heh I'd get the twin in that case :). It airs up my 37" tires in just about 2-3 minutes each from 18 psi to 36/37 psi. Usually about 10 minutes or so total to air up. its just 3x the price of the smitty which is hard to swallow. Add in the Grim bracket (which I'd for sure get) and you are like 4x+.
  6. Trout Safari Overland Expedition Build

Looking good! Those are some really beefy looking arms :muscle:
  7. My personal opinion, its not sexy!

For sure the stock Rubi's and Mojaves definitely are some bad trucks right off the lot. I got you meant the stripped down model. I was using "stock" to mean the same, wrong choice of words. Good taste in wheels. Highly suggest you get the Apex tire deflators they make airing down so fast its...
  8. First mods?

I wasn't going off road for a bit so I bought the 3W vinyl floor mats which turned out awesome and the Tyger tonneau. Both of these are pretty (comparatively) cheap mods to do. I thought I would be upgrading my stock halogen headlamps. What I found out is I actually like them better than my LED...
  9. My personal opinion, its not sexy!

Seems the opinion that stock is ugly is popular. I thought stock looks cool but modified it just looks so much more butch. Kinda like Clark Kent versus Superman.
  10. Sarge Green Cali in Bakersfield CA

Figure now is a good time to write up my Gladiator experience so far. Going from figuring out what I wanted to buying to the process of upgrading the JT. I was pretty set on a Bronco a bit over a year ago. My brother has an F-150 which I ended up driving 2000+ miles during a trip back in 2020...
  11. Factory wheels and tires... the first thing to go?

What good does this do? I am very familiar with South Bend in terms of the VW tuning market where they allow for much higher output.

I decided to go with front and rear Anti-Rock sway bars. Due in part to my front bumper choice. It turns out that the front sway bar didn't line up quite right. I needed to use some washers or make a shim to drop the mounting of the sway bar to the bumper down about 1/4" or so which would...
  13. Ranger Raptor Unveiled. Come on Jeep!!!

The 3.6 has juice but it likes to rev up. Drove Geo metros and Hyundais back before they got good and that for me is the baseline for gutless. Sure the modern Ford trucks get up and go better I won’t disagree. End of the day there are supercharger options for the 3.6 that put it more in line...
  14. Practical Truck for the Over Prepared Woman

I will be interested in hearing thoughts on the rear anti-rock. Got tired of waiting on Teraflex to ship their version of it which was part of the ST4 kit I installed. Purchased front and rear anti-rock and will be putting it on soon.
  15. Falcon Shocks Availability?

Oh you just made me realize what the difference is. Yes its the "Adapt" setup which has the auto mode. I got to take out the kit and the A pillar switch w/ Auto/Firm/Soft settings was in there.

Alright the universe loves me today. Was in 4wheelparts Bakersfield dropping the rig off for her obligatory 500 mile re-gear diff oil change and my guy there tells me the Falcon sp2 3.5s are in. LOL right! I couldn't believe it. Been told July would be about the earliest I could expect them. But...
  17. Falcon Shocks Availability?

Took my rig into 4wheelparts this morning. They do a 500 mile diff oil change as part of the re-gear. Was talking about some other parts with my guy there when he mentions the Falcon sp2 3.5s are there. I'm in disbelief like in a snap went from seeing them in July/August to he has them in the...
  18. The hardest vehicle to hand wash - ever!

Hmmm on this topic I made the mistake of taking mine through the car wash after playing in the dessert mud, which is like sand paper. Lots of swirling in my paint now . I get what you are saying wrt to the nooks and crannies. The carwash really can't get into a number of places I have...
  19. Sarge Green Cali in Bakersfield CA

For sure they'll be better. I actually think on road the Fox are too soft and while better than stock I'd like things a bit tighter. I've heard the Falcons should be the ticket for that. On another note do you think going for the 3.5s is worth it? I'm feeling kinda torn the 3.3s give the same...
  20. Sarge Green Cali in Bakersfield CA

Hot damn its real! Can't wait to see it when you get it back. Lemme know if you got room in your party for DV been scoping it out for months now I want to get up there and see it. Almost made it up there a few weeks ago when I had to head out to LV for training. Chickened out in the end, would...
