No, I got it. I've been joking that "unexpected new look" meant a 715 style front. But in reality, it's probably as simple as pickup vs suv.

And yet they did the Wagoneer and Chief concepts after the Crew Chief, which while not that same kit, had a similar profile. But yeah, it'll almost certainly be a JL front.

Unfortunately, "Unexpected New Look " probably means "pickup" instead of "suv."

Oh, I know. So I've just been having fun interpreting what we've seen, and what we haven't, in the context of a big surprise on reveal. Preferably, for me, the 715 style front end. So despite the fact that we'd seen sticker camo JLs by this time last year, we've only seen the bag camo on...

Not to belabor the point, but... It IS said that Jeep likes to preview future production elements in the EJS concepts, and they really have utilized this styling in recent years. ;););)

Playing around with my phone's photo editor... I can't help but think that were it a JL front clip, it'd drape over the slight bend in the grill before going down to the bumper. This seems like a pretty hard edge that then drops straight to the bumper. Of course, if could all be the aspect...

I would suspect that the reason is that the 2nd gen 3.0 isn't available yet at all in the JL, the Ram or the Grand Cherokee. But given that the 1st gen 3.0 was available in the Ram and GC in Europe, I would suspect that once it becomes available, it'll probably be offered in Europe for the JT.

Given that the previous generation Ecodiesel was sold in Europe, I would expect the 2nd generation as well. Might be easier than getting it in the states.

Okay, I've mostly been joking around lately, in creating the arguments that Jeep might be secretly planning to reveal a 715/Crew Chief inspired front end on the Gladiator. I honestly don't expect Jeep to be that bold, and it makes more sense to use as much JL parts as possible. But maybe...

I would guess it's an artifact of the render. All the mules have shown the spare being carried underneath.

And seriously, it would make sense to keep a JL front end if they were calling it the Scrambler. But if indeed it's the Gladiator, it feels like they should evoke the original in styling.
