So as promised here is the follow-up on the seats. Definite difference in the firmness of the foam labelled #1 foam, and seats that are not. The support is similar to a firm foam mattress, and the regular seats are much softer. I like the firm support, maybe not everyone does.
There is a definite difference in the seats. Ask your dealer what #1 foam is (as a seat spec). Then ask him if he has a vehicle with that, sit in it and then sit in any other regular seat. Then you will know.
I ordered Oct 5. Typically Canadian deliveries are running 11-14 weeks as opposed to US orders running 6-8. The same thing is happening with other consumer products as well. I ordered Ping golf clubs in Canada on Oct 8. Still not delivered however a US resident I know ordered the same clubs Oct...
Let me see if I can explain this another way:

The Overland HA diesel is my 23rd vehicle. 19 of those were new. Also had 4 motorcycles, also new. Only once for about 18 months have I had 2 vehicles at the same time
This one is just a pure pleasure to drive, more than any others I owned, although I really liked the Ram 1500 Limited diesel...

I pick up my Overland HA diesel tomorrow after 11 weeks waiting from order date.
It would have been another 2 weeks but the dealer phoned and asked me for authorization for them to get the vehicle from the staging yard in Calgary and drive it here, about 100 km’s.
Of course I agreed.
I read an article on Zero Hedge this evening that details delays in auto manufacturing worldwide.
Apparently it is due to computer chip supplies that can’t keep up to demand during the Covid.
Estimated to be up to 500,000 vehicles worldwide in delay status right now.
