Yes it is a general question that could be applied to any vehicle.
I have run 6 vehicles this way but have not run out a set of tires in 20 years due to low mileage.
My JT will be delivered to the dealer tomorrow so I don‘t know the specific rating on the Overland high altitude diesel. I know it...
Yes I can do that. However just sitting around online in the evening and knowing there is a great knowledge base here I thought I would ask the question and tap into that. I’ll start with the chalk test though.
Thanks guys.
I am asking if my logic with tire inflation is beneficial or not recommended practice.
Quite a bit of my driving (60-70%) is with the vehicle unloaded and just me driving.
The tire pressure decal on the door frame lists max tire pressure fully loaded.
So, for example, the max pressure is 44 psi...
I have had TPM errors but only when changing from winter to summer tires and vv. Of course they are not really errors, the system is doing what it is supposed to - provide a notification that some tracked component is not reading correctly. No issue with my tires however, it just takes an hour or...
Keep in mind, in those days all towing was done with a cable/rope (synonymous terms in those days) so yes, the most capable cable or rope tow is a loose translation.
not so true! here in florida BP has many stations and there normal pump handle is green, I think they use orange for diesel
In Canada the diesel pump handles are all yellow. Same as any jerry cans or other containers for diesel. All yellow.
This is basic workplace safety 101. Focus on the task at hand. Think about the task and make a plan.
I have driven all manner of vehicles for 50 years and never fuelled incorrectly. It takes 5 seconds to focus before getting to the pump: Oh, what vehicle am I driving today? Ah, yes, it is a...
As far as discounts go you should be able to get 5% off MSRP without even asking. Factory discounts on the Jeep line are usually limited to the GC etc. Not very often the Wranglers etc get discounted in Canada. I have a relationship with the FC dealer here and I don’t quibble past the 5% MSRP...
I ordered mine Oct 5 2020 and I was told by the dealer that it it delivered to staging in Calgary. Could be here this week, could be next week.
I signed up on the tracker site and got zero info or messages from them. It showed that a build sheet was issued and that has been all for 2 months now...
Has anyone ever used the Rivian device? I saw it advertised and gave a cursory look but not sure about how effective it is.
The web site says professional car hackers in Mexico could not get past it and the insurance institute there gives a 25% discount for customers with that device installed...
Since most vehicles have for years now used a “donut” spare, significantly smaller and less capable than the original 4 on the vehicle, I think my oem size will suffice for at least 100 miles If needed. So no spare upgrade tire for me.
You would be better off using the lighter weight oil for the first 30k. The tolerances are much tighter at this point and that is why the oil spec is 0W20. As the engine wears then go to 5W30
Things you can only say at Christmas:1. I prefer breasts to legs2. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.3. Smother the butter all over the breasts!4. If I don't undo my trousers, I'll burst!
