Hope she’s feeling better. I’ve had four Grand Cherokees and still have one. Not a Gladiator or Wrangler, but there’s a reason they sell a couple hundred thousand a year. And the new one is an improvement in my book.
I spend most of my time in the San Juan Islands of WA these days. Much of the time I leave the keys in the thruck and things in the carport next to it. When I return to the Seattle area I lock everything up and worry. Cities have always been more of a risk. But these days it’s virtually legal...
Zero issues from purchase 9-1-19, 28,500 miles. Third penestar I’ve owned, one bad spark plug quickly diagnosed and resolved. Just to be clear, the bad plug was on my WK not my Gladiator.
I don’t know for this is the case with your rig but all manufactures build a lemon once in a while. My father in law had an Audi A8 for three years that was never right and I made the mistake of buying it. After a year of it being in the shop every moth to the tune of $1,000-2,500 I traded it in...
Your pics really demonstrate their utility. I have the same set and put non-skid tape on the step parts. I have slid over logs on them and brushed a few rocks. Still loving them. Wish they were lighter but that would probably somewhat defeat the purpose. Bottom line, they provide excellent...
I hate to brag but I have almost 29,000 miles on my original windshield. I do have some chips, one I had repaired. But when this one goes I am definitely getting Gorilla Glass.
I think one thing that has made my windshield last is that I don't drive very fast on freeways and try to keep well...
I use my low power pressure washer or take it to through a self serve car wash. Everything we hang on has to be weighed based on many factors. One of which is, do we want to be able to drive it through a car wash? It’s a Jeep, its OK if it not spit and polish. 24 hours or less after you get it...
I was thinking the same thing. I didn't see what package he has but if he's got 4:10s (and he should if he's running 35s) those low gears will spin those tires pretty quick in 2WD. I noticed that when I got mine and am running 37s and 4:88s. You gotta be a little more subtle with the skinny...
Some will say a body lift isn't truly a lift because it doesn't lift the diffs. But when I watches the rear bumper drag on that truck I appreciate my 2.5" body lift.
There is definitely merit in this comment when specifically discussing the JT. It is very capable as a stock Rubicon. But due to its long wheelbase you will find the road with your belly and tail occasionally, not the end of the world but annoying. Not having it lifted some will mean sticking to...
I couldn't be happier with mine and it's been up there since September 2019. Some of the best money I've spent on the Gladiator. I live in the NW and it hasn't leaked a drop. When we get our 5 minutes of no rain in the winter I love it all the more.
To each his own, but I’m a canopy guy. Keeps things drier, cleaner and more secure. It also gives you more space to work with inside. If you must have a RTT, the rack will keep it lower. Which is a good thing for something so heavy. If I get a RTT I’ll put it on the trailer.
Brown Bear in the Seattle area. I don’t worry too much about pin-striping as its white and what I get on the trails is way worse than what they could do to it.
