I use mine on the road to save the brakes on steep hills and all the time off road to keep the desire gear.

I recently dragged mine (angled down) on some rocks and logs. They seem to have performed perfectly. No indication they did any damage, just lifted me over the obstacles. Couple of minor rub marks on the sliders. We love the steps, especially getting out.

Almost 13,000 miles and no issues of any kind.

I run these permanently and I prefer them. I know if I get in a tight squeeze they may get ripped off but I'd rather not have my tires throwing rocks at cars on the road. Call me a nerd, I can take it. Just don't call me a Mall Crawler! Easy install and easy removal.
